On 9 May 2025 I bought a 200 GB Super Data MTN bundle. The expiry date was 9 June 2025.
On 8 June I still had 100 GB left on this bundle. In order to extend the validity of the bundle (as I have done in the past) I bought a new 200 GB bundle on 8 June. The app showed that I then had around 300 GB.
However on 10 June the old bundle with 100 GB expired.
According to the MTN website and my experiences in the past, the bundle was supposed to extend. The website states:
"What are MTN Super Data's business rules?
Data bundle validity extension is triggered only when a bundle of the same value or higher is purchased. The new bundles will have the validity of the latest bundle."
When I called MTN customer services I was told that "MTN Super data doesn't carry over, sorry!"
I explained that it had carried over in the past. I explained that MTN's website says it should extend the validity of the old bundle, etc.
All I got is the supervisor saying that it doesn't carry over.
Anyone else with the same problem?
