Extending Primary Partition

Hi guys , I installed windows 7 beta just to test and play around with , so I set my primary partition as 24gigs. 3 weeks later and I've decided not to go back to xp anytime soon and I have about 500M left on my primary partition cause of program installs, is it possible to extend the partition, couldnt do it through control panel.

Paragon Partition Manager will do that

you cannot extend the boot partition from within the OS. this software will do it for you at startup then reboot and bob's your uncle

Acronis Disk Director will also do this without reinstalling, as long as the partition space next to it is sufficient - I usually transfer all my data in the adjoining partition to another HDD, then delete the partition, extend the OS partition, then create a new partition for the data.
