Not really. My current habits won't change.
The extra bandwidth however, means I don't have to nurse my network when we are all busy doing something.
The current QoS and limiting rules will remain in place whether 10Mbps ADSL or xxxxMbps LTE-A
what Qos device do you use in place?

Got the adapters today, hooked up the router and lined up the antenna.
Getting a pretty consistent 50 to 60Mbps down and just under 20Mbps up. Quite happy with that.
Ping between 16 and 19.

Life is good...

life is good, and do you need to pay for more data? life is also costing.

Xpol 2 covers a wider frequency range so it is a good all round antenna for for different operators where the Xpol 6 is covers a narrower band.

Just ordered ts-9 connectors and xpol-6 antenna, thanks to input on this thread. Hopefully, it improves my speeds. Currently averaging 10-15 down 15-20 up

My speeds are still consistent at 50 to 70Mbps since I did what you are busy doing.
Good luck!

Bought 2 TS9 to SMA male connectors.

Increases signal quite a lot with my xpol 6 antenna. Speeds only marginally better though like 20 down and 25Mbps upload. Similar speeds on my Huawei B315 so I'm doubting this tower is activating LTE-A but yeah....

Shipping took like 3 weeks because they import it.

Ouch. Mine were overnight from Otto or something like that.
Any reason you went the import route?

Zasttra.com have these external LTE antennae on special with Black Friday Code BFW5 for R410

https://www.zasttra.com/products/hi...-x-19cm-x-2-1cm?ref=isp_rel_prd&isp_ref_pos=2

There is also this LTE MIMO antenna for R522

https://www.zasttra.com/products/lf...-port-s-pc-0506?ref=isp_rel_prd&isp_ref_pos=1

......and an LTE Yagi for R400 here:

https://www.zasttra.com/products/hi...hz-yagi-antenna?ref=isp_rel_prd&isp_ref_pos=1

Cannot vouch whether any of these will work better than the Poynting or Otto Ottenna ones on the RAIN network though

The RP-SMA to TS9 Adapters are here for R43 each:

https://www.zasttra.com/products/rp-sma-to-ts9-adapter?ref=isp_rel_prd&isp_ref_pos=1

indoor LTE Antenna with TS9 connector for R274 here:

Bought from them my adapters. They import from China then ship it so expect your items to be locally couriered only 15 days after placing your order. That said once it was couriered it was next day.

Basically resell Chinese products so if you want to save more but don't want to wait you could also try alliexpress but longer wait + possible customs duties. Also can not comment on whether the Chinese antennas work as good or better as local ones.

Ain't a lot of these antennas from china and Japan fake.

I saw some you clips of ppl opening some of these 88dbi and 35dbi antennas. Ppl not getting any performance gains. Opening them up is 2 copper plates cheap thin cables inside.

Any tips on how to keep the connectors from falling out of the router? Mine keep falling out for some reason.

That does not sound right. I had to like force my connectors in they sit really tight.

Maybe you could try to wedge in a small piece of thin paper between the connector and the socket to get it to stay in place.
