Hi,

So after removing my external drive from my TV (TV was powered off) on Saturday, plugging it into my windows 7 machine now causes a BSOD.

So I plugged it into my mac and the 1 partition couldn't be read (other partition is fine). So it seems like the partition table is screwed up / corrupted.

What software is available these days to fix partitions (NTFS)? I once used Partition Table Doctor some years back.

Also, what recovery software is best to use or most reliable?

Update:

TestDisk looks promising. Will give this a go.
