While my surname is afrikaans my first language is english. not sure what a machine elf in afrikaans is, but google translate says 'masjien elf'

There might be other ways. I don't think they said their way was the only way, only that their way produced results for them.

If you want good images, you need a decent camera with a big zoom. Either a 'superzoom' like the nikon p1000 or a DSLR camera with an 800mm lens and at least a 2x teleconverter to give you a reach of 1600mm. My camera goes up to 1365mm
 
Our planet sticks out like a sore thumb in our galaxy, any semi advanced life form outside with a telescope will look at us and immediately be curious to come here or send some sort of communication, none of them have
Unless off course they have and we dont know about it

They have been watching us since our inception. I would go so far as to say they were involved in our creation. There are people who are in contact with ETs and they all say we are a hybrid race of their making. Prominent researchers like Erich von Däniken and Michael Tellinger wrote a book "Slave species of the gods" and according to the ancient sumerians (just to name one culture of many), ETs created us to be a sub-slave race for them. Apparently the Annunaki used human labour to mine gold for them.

Many species have destroyed themselves because their technological development far outstripped their spiritual development; as a result, they were not mature enough to use advanced technologies responsibly.
If they were to give, say, the US government free energy and advanced propulsion tomorrow, all they would do is weaponize it to wage wars more efficiently.

Like showing people "your" images of Lock Ness monster to prove he exists whilst dismissing all other methods to prove it.

I'm sure I can conjure up a flying spaghetti monster image and say it works for me so it must prove something.

Ja I'm honestly not sure what you're expecting from them? They've taken pictures, uploaded them for people to look at, taken video footage, made some attempt to speak about what they're experiencing both here and on youtube. If they just had one blurry image I'd say ja, fine. But they've gone to some effort (to tell the truth or lie) and everyone's just being their usual dismissive selves. Not saying I agree with alien person or anything, I just think they've at least come to the table with a lot more than the usual kooks.

There are more advanced tools you can employ to "confirm" the presence of a foreign object other than photographic and video evidence. The ce-5 app comes with a magnometer which can detect fluctuations in magnetic fields. Apparently these go haywire when a craft is close by. You can also use a "back garden" home radar system if you have the funds.
You could use a telescope wired up to a computerized tracking system which can lock onto a moving target and automatically track it without having to manually track it, but that will set you back over 200k.
There are neutrino detectors, also our of reach of the average person and if a ufo happens to land, a geiger counter can be used to detect radiation left on the ground.
And of course, space based satellites - all in the hands of government but not the average civilian.
And yes, the governments knows all about their existence.

Campaign against banks
In 2012, Tellinger was sued in the Johannesburg High Court by Standard Bank for nonpayment of his R828 015 home loan granted in 2007. Tellinger's pseudolegal argument, in a nutshell, was that banks create money "out of the air" and therefore he could do the same. He sent Standard Bank a piece of paper which he said was a "negotiable instrument" for the final payment of the loan. Standard Bank took him to court and within minutes his case was dismissed by Judge Jackson Mabsele. Tellinger was ordered to pay the loan and legal fees of both parties. There was also the possibility that he could be sued for defamation and be declared a "troublesome litigant". He was quoted as saying after the court case that he would take the case to the Constitutional Court.[3]

It's stuff like this that throws people off. On the one hand you've got a bunch of interesting anecdote and evidence, and on the other a bunch of (baseless & kooky) assumptions that just rile people up. Stick to the one you'll get a much better response imo.

Actually, this information is well known to any serious ufo researcher and has been for years.
Sounds to me like this is the first time you're hearing about it. You are hardly in a position to criticise when you clearly know absolutely nothing about this subject.
It's like someone who went into a coma before astrology was ever a thing, now telling astronomers they're "talking kak" when they wake up and find out we discovered exoplanets. You got some catching up to do.
Don't blame me for your own ignorance.

He has a point. Banks do print money out of thin air. It's called fiat currency. It's not even backed by gold.
Also, stop using wikipedia. it's junk.
If i want to learn the intricacies of how the combustion engine works, sure, i'll read wikipedia.
If i want to learn about a controversial subject such as ufos, it's the last place i'll go. The wikipedia cofounder himself says the site is extremely biased according to their own agendas.
