Extremely annoying feature - iPad V7.0.2

After installing 7.0.2 on my iPad2, there has appeared this shortcut window that drags up from the bottom of the screen. I often unintentionally drag it open when scrolling through a page and the only way to get rid of it is to drag it back down again. I find this EXTREMELY annoying. Does anyone know of a way of disabling or preferably uninstalling this completely unnecessary feature?

It is called the Control Center and you can disable it's access whilst you are in an App:
Settings --> Control Center --> Access Within Apps (switch this off)

Next time, rather throw all your issues into one thread.

I'd also recommend you download a copy of Apple's iPad user guide to pick up some tips about how to customize your device, and/or remove / disable anything else that might be frustrating.

I don't agree about putting everything in one thread - while they all relate to the update, they all cover different subjects and will interest, or not interest, different people. In time they will become dispersed.

I do have a copy of the iPad users guide - point taken, I will spend more time there. Remember however that time I spend looking in the manual will benefit only me whereas your comments will benefit many. Besides, if everyone read the manual there would be no need for forums

Posting multiple threads about a similar topic "your frustration with iOS7" with a similar Title, looks a lot like SPAM; I and many others will often skip over these threads.

Also don't forget that many others faced similar frustrations after the iOS7 upgrade; so most of your questions were already answered in another consolidated iOS7 thread.
