F1 2008

The commentators obsession with Hamilton is extremely irritating.
You would swear he is the only guy on the track.

Bummer for Massa, hope for his sake it was a technical glitch, can't afford mistakes like that at this level.

His team mate beat him in qualifying and the race, :D what a wonderful weekend this has been.

Fair enough, but the season is long, still could have had 3rd if not for a slow pit stop :p

Amen to that. Makes me hate the arrogant bastard even more.

Why's it so quiet in here... where are the SF guys? Very strange indeed...

im not sure what an SF guy is

stupid ferrari?

i could'nt watch the race only downloaded and saw it now, damn that night out getting home at 5 in da morning grrrrrrrrrrr

cannot wait for 2 o clock races again, allows more sleep time

anyhow boring race, nice driving kimi u beauty

hamilton looked ordinary(considering he is rated as one of the best driver ever) and was lucky to finish 5th

also those commentators need to talk about something else because talking about hamilton the whole time is stupid

maybe the race was so boring they didnt have much to talk about apart from the poor pitstop that poor old hamilton had and what would have happened if it didnt happen

omw we need non british commentators

button has now been replaced by hamilton

remember the damon hill days

Best driver ever? Bit premature... Lucky that his pitstop took 13 seconds longer than it should have? Lucky that he started the race with a 5 place penalty? Hardly...

besides the driving skills their is the personality, whats not to like :), easy going, friendly shall I go on.

luckily Bernie "terminated" ITV's contract...so its BBC from next year?

oh...can they also ditch poor old VIC on SUPERSPORT..that guy struggles to focus for 10seconds .....without poor old Sasha the practice comments from those remaining two are "droog".

graham duxbury ftw!

Wow... no-one here knows that SF - Scuderia Ferrari?
Interesting... :)

Everything pointing to consistency being the key to winning for McLaren since the car is not nearly as fast as the Ferrari in a straight line... if they win, it will have to be sheer driving skill and possibly aero / braking. Let's hope they can do it.

Ferrari were as fast as they were in the first race, it was no surprise how fast they were... once they had ironed out the glitches, it was always going to be a quick race for them... Mclaren were slower than they should have been, however, it is a high speed track and the top end of the McLaren isn't quite what the BMW and possibly Toyota is... ver interesting to see the Toyota up there... nice!

Yeah looks like we in for a very competitive season... If nothing else the 1st 2 races have proven predictable it won't be...

naaa toyota just love that track, doubt they will compete much this season

as for bmw i think they have 2 very talented drivers, just as talented as hamilton yet you never hear anybody going on about how great they are

now kubica will be a great f1 driver all he needs is a car to win with something hamilton started out with

legends are not made from bum in the butter, legends are born from hardship and driving a kuk car before landing that championship ride

i hope bmw can get their kuk sorted would love to see them challenging ferrari along with mclaren

Agreed - it's top speed that the Toyota is strong in... wait till the tighter corners and real driving / handling come into play... McLaren's car and even more, Hamilton are made for real driving (remember the start of the race?) unlike some of the others that would do superbly on an oval...

kimi is an all rounder he loves all tracks

which is why he is world champ :)
Kimi over rated, it's the Ferrari which is such a great car, look how Kimi battled in the Mclaren from 2002 until he left last season and in his 1st season with Ferrari he wins the championship as Michael did countless seasons before him... Ferrari maketh the man...

Ferrari doesn't maketh the man. Felipe Massa can vouch for that. Also, if Kimi is so overated, do you remember any of his legendary drives for McLaren when their car was an absolute donkey but he won races or finished on the podium by beating Rubens and co in a Ferrari? Overated=Golden boy (Lewis Hamilton).

cannot argue with the man :)

I can't remember where I heard it, but there is a rumour that Alonso could join Ferrari this season still becuase Felipe has been dismal so far. Anyone else heard it?

I'm sure Alonso has some sort of performance related release cluase in his contract.
