It still think KERS and DRS are noddy solutions to a problem that shouldn't exist, but the epic nature of 300km races is part of the magic of F1. To change that would be blasphemous. F1's old tracks - Spa, Silverstone, Monza et al - are fantastic. Some of the newer ones are quite good too - Malaysia comes to mind - but many of the 'designed for racing' tracks have been absolute snore-fests.
And here I couldn't agree more... I LOVE the racing at the classic tracks... That Copse, Maggotts, Becketts, Chapel and Stowe combination at Silverstone, Eau Rouge at Spa and the Lesmos at Monza really test the hell out of drivers.
