F1 2012 thread

Hamilton is clearly the best driver in F1 and has been ever since his debut. Only reason vettel dominated is because he had the best car last year (not being challenged by teamate because Webber is well below F1 driver standards) and the only reason Button can beat him in races is because of team "errors" (read anti hamilton consiracy) and Pirelli tires which favour people who don't have the out and out pace of a confident and skilled F1 driver such as Hamilton.

OMW i find this so funny, the mclaren is obviously the most superior car so now hamilton has the best car but now it isn't the same as when vettel had it LOL.

When vettel dominates in the best car, it's the best car, when hamilton dominates in the best car he is the best driver ever.

The reason button beats him in races is because button is a better driver, you don't have to be the fastest driver to be the best. Part of being a driver is finishing races. Hamilton cannot cope with the tires, a good driver can like button. Button has not been dominated by hamilton, if anything he has looked the better driver yet the excuses fly for hamilton :D.

Admittedly Hamilton is excellent in terms of driving skill, but he is not the complete package. Drivers close to a package are Schumacher, Alonso and Button. Hamilton is a sore loser for the most part and lots of excuses. That makes Button shine because of his balance. I am not a Button fan but I respect his skill a lot. We dont yet know if Vettel is the complete package. If he can get his car to win and start far from pole then he is close to one.

Alonso is clearly showing what he is made of. By getting all that the car has to offer. And what anti Hamilton conspiracy in a team that groomed him?
 
Look nobody is denying the ham can race and he is exciting to watch but he is sore loser who always has excuses, instead of saying look button got off the line better and dominated me the entire race he tries to find excuses. O i had an issue at the start but what about the rest of the race? What was the issue with his car? Button was lapping faster even when the ham had not destroyed his tires.

I think we see could the talent vettel had when he was not as redbull. The reason redbull took on vettel is because he looked a superstar. Hamilton was a great driver in his first two season but then his attitude changed. Did you watch the last race? Vettel fought and drove a great race.

Hamilton has many many reasons to be frustrated and angry because of all the "bad luck" that he has had over the years such as team screw ups or **** tire intro such as stupid Pirellis which you have to conserve (don't get that - this is F1 man, let the guys race all out all the time, this ain't an economy race)

Yeah hamilton dominates button and is by far a better driver. Out of the 30 (?) F1 races hamilton and button have had for McClaren, hamilton has out qualified button in how many? I would estimate about 27. And in qualifying, there is no luck or team play really so hamilton can shine through and show his tallent against his teamate who has the same car. Qualifying is the litmus test for determining how good a driver is against his teamate but you can't really compare them against guys in other cars.

In the race (economy race), all sorts of other factors that drivers cannot control such as team fk ups, **** tires that wear out and preven drivers from showcasing their out and out pace in the name of "thinking and conserving tires". This is why the race is not the litmus test for pure driving talent.
 
Dude you are nothing more than a troll. I can have a debate with just about anyone but when someone says people cannot handle a black doing well then it's just very off putting and honestly there must be something wrong with you.

I was amazed hamilton got out in front of button must have been some solid laps he was putting. He is one of the best in the wet.
 
Ja, I thought Button had him at the 1st corner and then coming out the pits!! Nice of the race director to be focusing on the pit lane instead of the exit lane, tosser...
