Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo plays down 'inexperienced' Sergio Perez's chances of taking Felipe Massa's seat

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has poured cold water on speculation linking Sergio Perez with the team, saying the Mexican is too inexperienced for the Italian squad.

2012 Canadian Grand Prix
1 Lewis Hamilton
2 Romain Grosjean
3 Sergio Perez
4 Sebastian Vettel
5 Fernando Alonso

di Montezemolo will be sitting up and paying attention now I think. "C'mere Serg old pal" :p

Standings:
9. Perez 37

.
14. Massa 11

Pirelli have given us one hell of a championship so far! I hope the trend continues at what is usually a snooze fest known as Valencia...

Stupid Pirelli tyres.
Oh well seems Hamilton made it, even with 2 bad pitstops.

How did RBR and Ferrari drop the ball like that? When Hamilton pitted his outlap was 1 sec faster than Alonso and Vettel, then 2 seconds faster, why did rbr and Ferrari not do something then? Oh well.

Silly racing imo, seems the drivers are there for show this year, the team bosses are in charge now.

Kimi, Perez, Grosjean, Schumi, etc could also all take the podium this season.. Can't wait to see how things pan out by September!

MSC needs to finish a race first lol, perhaps the only race he finishes will be the race he wins.

Excellent race! Not sure WTF is up with Button though; he's too focussed on strategy (and being lucky?), he has a beast of a car and should just race the damn thing.

Dreadfull call by Ferrari and RBR, I loved seeing those tyres fall off the cliff...almost

7 different race winners.....

hmmmmm most interesting start in F1 history.

Has tyre wear made F1 a lottery ?

Alonso could have taken it if he pitted with Lewis, well done Hamilton & team, good call .... risky but it paid off.

Nope, he was not far enough ahead. Hamilton pitted first into clean air. Alonso would have without a doubt come out behind but he could have tried chasing for the win.

Its seems that is exactly whats wrong with Button, he is still approaching the races as he did in the past...

It's been the same at the last couple of races. I don't know why it is. Normally it's something I'm pretty good at.

"I haven't got a clue what is going on. Every time we think we've some good ideas we don't seem to make any progress. I don't know why that is.
