F1 2012 thread

They were a bit slow with the vettel grosjean incident, they never realized vettel had let him through, took them sometime to pick it up.

I'm talking about the interviews, not the commentary.

Vettel said the F word. Apparently it's his "second" language. Hahaha!

First Kimi says people gave him schit, then Vettel says they fscked it up. Live on air.

I love this...:D

We moost aporlargais fir the werds yoused. Plirse noot dat Sebasteen ees speekin a secorn langwich. Er crap - rooose wartir!!!

Hahahahahahaha...:D

I want the old Pirelli tires back, those that suddenly starts to go. I don't like this one that last almost fore ever.

1.Rosberg s "Deliberate" crash into Narain must be looked into thoroughly. looks to me like a red bull/merc collaboration to stop u know who
2.Webber was erratic ! it looked like he was trying to crash and have the safety car deployed
3.Senna deserves to be fired. i mean pastor qualified 4th and him 14th. iN VALENCIA pASTor took pole and he managed 17th. i know he is better in races but someone like Kobayashi will do better. senna is wasting potential of the car.
4. Alonso is the best F1 driver right now
5. as reliable as a Ferrari. no gearbox changes , alternator problem , brake problems , or what not
6. Raikkonen - i saw that one coming. very cool.
7. mCLAren- no wonder why lewis is leaving. very unreliable.
8.Perez is not going to rise to the occasion at Mclaren. he is going to be another Heikki. wont perform well coz of the pressure.
9. Vettel is not only good when he is on pole. he showed us that.
10.i thought vettel overtook Grosjean illegally. i mean he went off track to accomplish that.

How can you say alonso is the best driver after witnessing one of the best drives ever from vettel?

You realize vettel gave grojean the place back, then over took him again.
Webber was not erratic, he tried to overtake and it didn't work out, he never caused a safety car.

Senna while perhaps not driving as well as pastor still finished in 8th which is pretty good for williams. Bare in mind senna was taken out on the first corner and rejoined at the back of the pack, so he drove from the back of the pack to finish 8th.

Did you even watch the race?

What? Didn't work out? Button showed him how its done not long after Webber messed up. Accept it that Webber drove like ***** today and move on.

1. Formula 1 cars accelerate at an incredible rate (take the Vettel/Ricciardo incidnet), KK should've went off the track as NR had to time so react so quickly.
4. Alonso is a good driver especially since he takes a good car and competes with the Red Bull which is the best car. Alonso really takes the Ferrari to its limits.
10. Vettel did do that the first time, then allowed him through and then passed him again, legally.

OMW that was the race of the season!

Firstly, that has got to be Vettel's drive of his career. I don't think he's ever had to pull finger like that and pull finger he did! Definitely the drive of a champ.

Alonso, again, drove the wheels off of that Ferrari. That move on Webber was just sublime.

Kimi was incredible too, showing that given the opportunity, he can win races in a car that isn't the best. It was near the best, but just not up to Hamilton's Macca (when it was racing) or Sebs Bull. That Bull was so wound up.

If Vettel hadn't trashed his front wing, I reckon he would have challenged Alonso - Alonso has Button to thank for not being under pressure from Vettel. Button did well to hold that RB back as long as he did. That said, the Ferrari came alive in the last few laps.

I'd love to know what exactly they did to that RB in the pits - whatever it was, I suspect it might even change their strategy for the last two races.

Hamilton had that Macca so well wound up, but Singapore all over again, bleah! At least he's not fighting for the title.

I would never in a million years have guessed that Abu Dhabi would produce the race of the season. AWESOME!

Red Bull should set Vettel's car up for race pace, not quali - he'd get more credit, particularly from me. If we got to see more of that kind of racing, this sport would go back to mainstream. That reminded me of the 70s-80s.

You realize that for the first half of the season, the redbulls were competing with alonso. Redbull have not had the best car all season and they never had the best car today.

Alonso for me drove poorly today. Vettel started at the back of field twice and finished a few seconds behind alonso.

Drove the race of his career, dude do you watch f1? vettel has driven like that 4-5 times this season. your memory must be short because redbull were behind ferrari in the beginning of the season. Vettel chased for most the season.

Did you ever watch vettel in a torro rosso? I am assuming you never did but he drove the wheels off a shyte car and even won a race in it.

That wasn't down to Alonso's poor driving. He was driving a dog. Who did Vettel overtake that was worthwhile? I think you overestimate the competition down the field. Even Webber had to box it for Vettel. Vettel took Button and got a well timed pit stop plus three saftey cars. There is no doubt he had the fastest car of the people he beat today. It was a brilliant drive, but Alonso definitely didn't have a fast car, yet he took Webber brilliantly. Alonso would have been chasing had Vettel started third.

My prediciton is that we would have seen Hamilton 1, Vettel 2, Kimi 3, Alonso 4 given a straight forward race. It was an exciting race but be thankful Vettel started from the back.

He would never have done that well if not for the safety cars. He had as much good luck as he drove well this race.

Awesome finish to the season, though I would have loved to see an Alonso win today. Alonso still has a moerse uphill battle to win. It really should have been a Redbull 1-2 again, but they messed up. Today is one of those days they have everything to thank Vettel for.

For sure, and they were doing a poor job of it. Alonso was able to make that Ferrari do stuff that few others could have done IMO. That said, no doubt Vettel was doing everything he could with the RB too.
