F1 2013 thread

Yeah - I wonder if his quali strategy was determined by the penalty, or if Rosberg just nailed it this time around.

You talk like you think rosberg is inferior to hamilton. that isn't the case. Unlike hamilton rosberg has to drive pretty crap cars, hamilton has always been in a decent car. Rosberg is more than capable of matching hamilton and beating him.

More evidence suggesting that Alonso is getting better treatment

Q1 _ Alonso had medium tyres while Massa had Hard tyres. why...nxaa !

i don't think any driver has a say on these issues let alone Massa.

:wtf:

"I think it can be positive," Massa said. "I saw the possibility to gain position with two cars who will lose position. So that's why I maybe concentrated on the hard. Let's try, it is a gamble; maybe it works, maybe not. We don't know, but if it works it can be a very good thing for tomorrow." - from here

The driver will normally be allowed to overrule any team decision on tyres...

F1 drivers always speak in first person...duh huh...it doesnt mean he is responsible for choosing Hard tyres.

:D Here... just for you!

I've had enough of this. I don't speak Hindi. I don't know who you are or why you've decided to start insulting me. I would have done this via PM but you obviously don't worry about things like privacy or having manners. Continue with this and i'll be forced to report your behaviour.

I found this site a couple of weeks back that has a calendar for all the F1 races that includes times and dates for all sessions. You can choose which sessions you want, setup a reminder 20 minutes before each session and then it will create a new calendar that you can add to Google, Apple Calendar etc. Works great.

Here's what it looks like on my Nexus 4 using the Simple Calendar widget:

Nope, nobody is trying to insult anyone Vinodh.
I'll put it down to cultural differences between us and make a mental note to avoid teasing you.

It was a rhetorical q. The question is more about the difference between the two mercs and a suggestion that Rosberg may have nailed it / Hamilton fluffed it vs Hamilton on a different strategy.

Evidently this is the first time you've ever seen an F1 race. Perhaps wait until you know the sport a little better before commenting...

I wouldnt write off skyhawks theory, its quite feasable that Massa's quali strategy was a collective decision, though if he had complained I do think he would have got his way.
