In my sport if you go to the assistance of another competitor in need, you will be compensated for any prejudice you suffer.

FIA followed their rules, George did the right thing as a human and a sportsman. Not a great outcome, perhaps the rules need a look...?
It looked like George was the reason Zhou ended up upside down and sideways in the barrier. I question whether his motive for checking on him was human or sportsman or guilt - especially when I cast my mind back to how he checked up on Bottas a few years ago also after almost killing both of them on a damp track. At least he had a nice excuse to try with the FIA this time around.

MBB, we hate Liberty media, they just want to make a big show and drama out of it.

Liberty media brings out a safety car for every little thing so field can bunch up and influence race order.

MBB, give us more
Liberty media and FOM owns broadcasting, the FIA makes the call on the SC/VSC/flags, etc.

Nothing but poo coming from your mouth. It was actually Gasly hanging behind BOTH drivers who caused the accident. His tyre cut Russell's rear tyre causing him to spear into Zhou. As in this was a pure accident.
And checking up on Zhou and alluding to what you said now...disingenuous. He went to check on the guy. Not like Zhou caused the accident.
Don't be lame.

Just like you, I'm entitled to my view. If you don't agree with me, get over it. Never asked you to.

George got tapped by Gasly from behind, not much he could do.

I doubt anyone here will agree with a Tin Hat conspiracy and questioning someone's motives like that.

LOL this is amazing. The video shows and even the commentator says Russell is moving left and hits Gasly.

But hey the blind cant see.

Maybe, but...blind spot? Have you tried to rotate your head to see that in an F1 car? The fact that Gasly's front tyre hit Russell's rear shows you how far back he was. First corners tend to be VERY tight if all the cars go through. Russell might have seen Zhou, but he clearly didn't see Gasly.
Was it Gasly's fault? Doubt that. He had tried to make a run between them, and then hung back. Probably not enough. If he had, Russell would have covered that line and no car would have been there. Zhou would have had to either go round on the outside, or concede the corner and try again into T2.

Of course George was closing the gap, Gasly should've tapped off but he went for a non-existant gap, most drivers would've tried that which was why it was called a racing incident. Unless you know better and have more telemetry available to you than the stewards.

I THINK he initially went for the gap because he saw what a monster of a start Latifi had. But then didn't back off enough, or fast enough as Russell came to close that gap.
Imagine Russell's surprise seeing a Williams jump him. Next thing to do would have been to close the gap. It wasn't exactly a sharp turn left either like he tried to forcefully cut someone off.

Racing incident. FIA never went further.

Exactly, not the first time for a first lap incident, surely will also not be the last.

We were talking about George at the time, and there was nothing he could do, he probably couldn't even see Gasly at that point.
UHmm He moved left and hit Gasly. That is the fact. Unlike your claim.

Your view is wrong, it's not supported by the video evidence.
There was something he could do. He should not have MOVED LEFT into another car

Was it a racing incident. Yes, things like this happens when F1 cars start and some accelerate faster than others and there is a mad scramble for positions at the start.

Does not take away from the fact that him moving left to protect his bad start caused the racing incident.

Yes look again at your not supported video evidence. He had a bad start. cars passing him and he trying to limit the damage by moving left.

Which was expected, any racing driver would do just that. The stewards didn't find anyone at fault just so by the way, so yes, it was a racing incident, very clearly.
