DotD for SAI, pity he was Ferrari'd at the end there.

As for Ferrari. Before he passed Perez the team said to him Plan A(1Stop) and he was furious and said no. So they quickly said ok back to Plan B(2stops).
So it was not Ferrari, it was Sainz that decided he must stop again.
If he did not stop he would have more than 10 laps left on already old mediums and could crash or be passed by Perez and Russel again. Even if they did not pass him, he would still have ended behind them with his 5s penalty.
So the result would be the same as now, without the risk of a tyre failure.
 
As someone that has been routing for Russel now that he is in a better car that move on Perez before the VSC was so bad and luckily Perez moved out otherwise it would have ended badly for both.

The VSC overtake was quite good though.

Why did het get a penalty?
