Some things I picked up on during the race:

1. Mercs are still slower than Ferrari and RBR. Although Perez seemingly couldn't pull it together enough.
2. Sainz really is a machine and deservedly won DotD. Maybe would have even won the race if he started higher up.
3. Alonso really is a wily driver. Heard him on the mic to his engineer after being told to hurry up as Norris was catching him say something like: "I know, I want the McLarens there so they can lose their tyres." Which is what happened.
4. Russell acting like a spoilt brat telling his engineer to get Perez nailed for not giving him the corner when it was his fault. If Toto comes onto the radio TWICE to tell you to just race then you know it's all a crock of cr@p.
5. Le Clerc really cannot handle the pressure when there's none being put on him.

They told him to box when he was accelerating to overtake. Sure, there's the pit lane, but Ferrari were either asleep on the wall, picking their noses, or not keeping track of where he was in relation to the track positioning. No way he'd have made that entry legally.
