He and Seb have become friends. Still don't like the guy and I still believe he places himself ahead of the team (note his "fashion" sense whereas the other drivers all wear the sponsor/team clothing), but that was a nice touch to do that for Vettel.
It shows the respect Seb has amongst the drivers.
I'm not much of a fan of the guy, but not wearing sponsors kits to an outing with others from grid being 'anti-team' is quite the stretch here.

The media attention he receives is wildly disproportionate to his achievements.Go figure

Riciardo's claim to 'fame' is the character/entertainment value he brings to the sport, little to nothing more imho.

Always gives me a laugh that anybody ever considered him a championship contender type.

So this year the battle for first place couldn't be drawn out, so second place battle (manufactured anyone) will have to do. Expect safety cars, tyre decisions and strategy calls to dominate on Sunday

In true Ferrari clown fashion. Leclerc will end up in front, behind the safety car with old hard tires.

Lol, or (hold tight, some options coming, and its maybe dodgy maths but can also work) they start together side by side, take each other out in the first lap, either DNF or slide down the order, then George wins and gets fastest lap, takes 2nd, they fight for 3rd:

That would be hilarious if George were to take second place off them. Would make my whole year.

I didn't say he was anti-team. I said he was placing himself ahead of the team by not wearing sponsor kit. Bit of a stretch there.
19 other drivers do...make of it what you will.

That's a big stretch. Both RBRs would need to not finish the race, and Russell would need to finish first with fastest lap. He has done incredibly well this season though, without a doubt.

I am definitely starting to like Mr Saturday more and more. I want him and Last Lap Lando on the podium. Checo for P1.

I can see a number of drivers not wearing team or sponsor kit in the photo, Perez is wearing a plain white T and GR a plain white dress shirt, for example.

He does wear sponsor regalia... i suppose its anyones choice to wear that on a night out... strange to be knocked for that

Happy for DannyRic remaining in the paddock but its a missed opportunity for younger drivers to get a leg up
