*Driving a crappy car
I watch the International feed on my TV, with my tablet on the couch next to me for onboards or livetracker. I was onboard with Max when he came in for his first stop and the director had yet to cut to that feed. Was cool seeing him in the pits even before the commentators spoke about it.What a great start to the 2022 season. I was hoping Mick would score points!
Both Mercs can count themselves lucky the RBRs retired. Without that, they were just watching them disappear around the next corner. The Merc-engined cars seem to be at a disadvantage.
First time I used F1TV "in anger" this weekend and it was awesome. The kids kept asking to see a different cockpit view.
All in all, if the Le Clerc/Verstappen scrap is what we can look forward too, then the F1 fans have something exciting ahead of them (not the Twitter trolls who use any opportunity to rip off the drivers).
They need to get Damon Hill, Crofty and the other guys back. These new commentators are too high-pitched and I found it most irritating when something exciting was going down, to have someone with a high pitch in their voice screaming their way through it.I watch the International feed on my TV, with my tablet on the couch next to me for onboards or livetracker. I still find F1TVPRO to have crisper HD than DSTV NOW streaming.
Crofty and Martin Brundle are there - just open the side menu which shows all the car video feeds and choose the world icon 2nd from the top = international commentary feed. Same stuff as SkyF1 on Supersport. They need to get Damon Hill, Crofty and the other guys back. Damn it dude, noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! I should have checked that. I saw it, but then thought it might be foreign commentators.Crofty and Martin Brundle are there - just open the side menu which shows all the car video feeds and choose the world icon 2nd from the top = international commentary feed. I generally mute the first lap on supersport. Jisis crofty is annoying when he starts squealing from excitementDamn it dude, noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! I should have checked that. I saw it, but then thought it might be foreign commentators.
I need to do that this weekend. I cringed every time Verstappen overtook Le Clerc knowing what was coming next in the commentary!
That was my take too. Their drivers are looking very comfortable that they have more to deliver. They were in management mode when Max was all over them.If this is true...

Charles only used 7th down the main straight and then only 8th when he had DRS after turn 1/2. 7th against Max!If this is true...

They may just obliterate this year's championships ...

Given there's a freeze on engine dev till 2025... Maybe more than this year's.Charles only used 7th down the main straight and then only 8th when he had DRS after turn 1/2. 7th against Max!

Let's hope there is at least some form of challenge else this season is going down the bin before May.They may just obliterate this year's championships ...

I was a Charles fan. Then Max took over as my number 1. Now it looks like Charles finally has the equipment to realise his potential (if he eliminates silly errors like in the past)As long as it's not Max, I can live with it.
Charles is a great sportsman. I enjoy the way he doesn't blame the equipment or team when things don't go well. He's quick to blame himself.I was a Charles fan. Then Max took over as my number 1. So I'm spoilt for choice and it certainly made the double DNF on Sunday tolerable.
