Wasn't going to comment by adding fuel to fire, but this will be my last comment about other teams/drivers but McLaren ( whether good or bad )

Excellent idea!

Was merely pointing the facts and the facts are Lulu "fanbois" are sour at the moment and should go cry in a little Tutu corner...

Where? Genuine question, almost all Hamilton posts I see are from his haters, so are you saying the correct name for his haters are hater fanbois?

And if you think thats sexy, then you need to go see a shrink

I'm not the one who is continually making posts about him. You just come over as rather infatuated, that's all.

Post qualifying 5c...

I hope RB allow Checo to race and if he stretches a lead over Max will be given support he needs to win the championship. I have my doubts though. As for Merc, work to be done but whatever setup Lewis had - it isn't working. Hopefully they'll fix what can be fixed and start from the pit lane if necessary. Damage limitation until they sort out the car over the next few races.

I don't think this is a problem the can sort out tbh. I suspect the Merc powered cars are going to be on the back foot until engine unfreeze just like Ferrari was.

Still too early to say imho - I wouldn't count Merc out just yet. For now I'm hoping that no single team will run away with all the points ;)

Christian Horner openly stated to SkyF1 last night that the 2022 Red Bull is a lot more suited to Checo's driving and not as quirky as last year's car. I read into that, that they think Checo may be more competitive than Max or at least on the same level.

This early in the season, it would be foolish to stunt Checo in favour of Max.

What if, and this is a big Max fan typing, Checo takes the lead in the championship and this is his year? Checo versus Charles? Bring it on!

Denis Hauger was absolutely robbed by race control in F2.
Pit entry lane was opened briefley (in error) by RC. Hauger went in. They then closed it and he was given a 10s stop go penalty for coming into the pits while it was closed. Their team even confirmed verbally that the pitlane was open and race director said yes. Being the only car driving through the pitlane already set him back and destroyed his chances of a win which he was nicely set up for.... But to add insult to injury they added a stop and go penalty and their attitude is "take it up with the stewards after the race"
Absolute bollocks destroying careers. This is becoming a joke.

Quick Heads-up for those on the forum that Use Sky, BBC etc. for F1 news, Times and coverage like I do.
Daylight Saving came into effect early this morning so the UK Time zone is GMT+1.

That means that yesterday we added 2 hours to find the South African start time of SKY Coverage, from today on you will only add an hour.

Race control said cars should go through the pit lane behind the safety car, then said not to do that. When he entered, all the light showed the pitlane is closed and safety car also did not go through the pitlane.

The only problem that there might be is that his team claimed that they asked the race director twice and he said to go through the pitlane.

I thought that the teams were not allowed to talk to the Race Director this season....
There is most definitely a need to communicate with the race director. I think the change is that it won't be the team principles anymore. And, perhaps not directly with the director, but perhaps some other member of race control.

Yes, that is my understanding. There is a need to communicate with "Race Control" but not with the Race Director Personally. So maybe Race control gave them the wrong information twice but not the Race Director.

On the other hand it is the FIA, so rules change on a whim and clarity is scarce, lets see how it unfolds in the next few weeks.

If anything it highlights the need to follow the indicators and not waste time asking race control.
Maybe a lesson for all to leave RC alone.
