It's the same with Ferrari stopping research on this year's car too. Their championship is up. Sainz to be taken by Perez inside the first 3 corners on the first lap; Max to take Le Spin down the straight and into Turn 1 on the first lap...race for the red cars will be over.

Not an impossibility actually, especially as the first sector belongs to Red Bull. Merc being fastest on the straights may help somewhat, but they're still the 3rd fastest car I think.

The 3-8 positions are going to be fun to watch though, that's what I'm looking forward to.

Go Baas LeClerc, although I don't have so much hope for race with the way Ferrari eats its tyres.

See some snotty remarks making a return since yesterday. Must be midfield fans coming out the basement.

I'm struggling to understand why the tyres are going off that quickly..if anything, that will sadly be the reason why Charles might not win the title.

Yeah I'm no engineer, but my theory would be Ferrari set up for more downforce and thus quicker through corners, but tyres then get hotter.

Talking about midfield, how was George getting the midfield merc into 4th position, not bad for someone who does not have the most dominant and fastest car.

He has experience in getting schitboxes to overperform...
 
Once again I get to watch the qualifying only on the next day :/

But can I just say how awesome it is to be back at a real race track :)
