The question is will Max support him the same way Checo supported Max last year. And will Jos be able to stfu about it?

Hopefully Jos keeps quiet. It's not like he was much of a driver in his day so he has no leg to stand on. Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like he's not in the pits or garage as much as last year?

I'd also say that for now, with Max being in the lead, Checo is still #2. But not by much, and maybe not for longer. As long as we have decent, hard and clean racing it's all good. Max seems to have lost a bit of the control he had on that car. Otherwise, like I said above, Checo has simply hooked things up finally and is showing he's a capable driver.

Perez gave it up pretty easily.

These Alpines are so fast, I don't see Ham getting by without an error from Ocon.
 
So they're saying the "no fighting" order was because his tyres are shot and Max was catching him anyway. They want the 1-2 whichever order it comes in at this point I guess.

It's only 3.5 seconds so Perez can catch him and DRS past him if he is fast enough.
