LH ran with experimental parts GR not. Been this way for the last few races. I don't get the agenda against LH. DR also suffered back pain yesterday as a result of the bounding. There is a video of him.
Checo admitted his tyres were gone and he couldn't defend, so the call was made to not do so and have a 1-2 finish. If it's a fair fight I say go for it. If you're just delaying the inevitable and potentially screwing up your teammates race makes no sense.

Not a concern. F1 hasn't ever been about the poors.Sky Sports also reporting it so I think it's true, tickets will be crazy expensive though
Watching that start I actually thought what is even the point in having pole. Second position had the inside line on the turn and was therefore better posed to defend the corner....didn't I say that Perez would have overtaken LeClerc in the first corner? I should take Lotto this week.
Lewis jumped Perez last year at the restart the same way until he did some magic.Watching that start I actually thought what is even the point in having pole. Second position had the inside line on the turn and was therefore better posed to defend the corner.
Even with the space they have, it's not enough to safely pull over to the inside unless pole gets a 1/2s jump on second at the start. Maybe I'm just seeing things but would be an interesting theory to look out for in future races
Agree. I think if you have an identical reaction time, it's likely P2 is the better position to be in. Saw it on a couple of F2 races as well. Not sure about rubber on the track but I assume, being a street track, probably not much?Lewis jumped Perez last year at the restart the same way until he did some magic.
2nd definitely the sweet grid spot.
Yeah no I think Toby knows what he's doing #justsayingI can just see this coming! It finally arrives, and we all go and watch.
Right before starting lights go out we get load shedding making the lights not work due to no planning of backup power
You mean like Monaco?I can just see this coming! It finally arrives, and we all go and watch.

They didn't plan for it. We've come to expect it and plan for it...You mean like Monaco?

On the phone it's perfect. Strange....Change your streaming quality. I have a 50Mbps fibre line playing through a media PC (Beelink) with a 4k connection into a TV that only does 1080p and I cannot stream at the highest quality.
I'm more concerned about the SA GP not having issues around pathetic organisation, mega queues, insufficient toilets, litter everywhere etc. The folks on Reddit complaining about their GP experience after most races is deeply off-putting given the price of tickets.Sky Sports also reporting it so I think it's true, tickets will be crazy expensive though
