I miss the days when it was just racing and talking to your friends about it.

Now I can't switch on my phone without knowing Max's future father in law said a word in his native tongue last year probably aware that it is racist and it came out coincidently just before yesterday's boy's home race and every driver is showing much love and respect and having a good ol' social media ****.

I don't, better to expose people for their bigotry and deal with it.

But the timing of this is very sus, it has the feel of oppo research: whoever leaked this probably knew about it from when it was originally aired, but held on to it and released it just before the British GP for maximum effect.

You thinking that they are using this to throw red bull of their game?

Shock-horror, mud island is expected to experience rain

Rain threatens to deliver dramatic weekend at British Grand Prix: https://racingnews365.com/rain-threatens-to-deliver-dramatic-weekend-at-british-grand-prix

"... According to our weather provider, WeerOnline, Friday will be a showery day at Silverstone with rain across Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire.

As the afternoon progresses, the chance of showers decreases with the sun finding gaps to shine between clouds to heat the air temperatures to highs of 20 degrees Celsius.

FP1 is expected to be damp with FP2 to be staged on a drying track, depending on when the showers end....

The weather forecast for Saturday remains uncertain. There is rain expected north and east of the circuit while forecasts south of the venue show that it will remain dry. Showers are likely with a storm possible just as the cars take to the track for qualifying.

Will the skies clear in time for race day?
The answer looks set to be no - but that does not mean we will see rain during the British Grand Prix.

Sunday is expected to be a cloudy day with moderate wind and rain is possible, but for now, is unlikely.

The temperatures are expected to climb no higher than 20 degrees Celsius."

F1 teams given more scope to fix engine reliability issues: https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/f...pe-to-fix-engine-reliability-issues/10330150/

"... At a meeting of the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council in Paris, a number of tweaks to F1’s sporting and technical regulations were rubber stamped.

In the wake of a spate of reliability failures by teams this year, it was agreed that the rules regarding the current power unit limits would be amended.

Firstly, F1 teams will be allowed to swap power units under parc ferme conditions for newer versions that have been put into their pool. Previously, any specification of a car component that was replaced in parc ferme automatically required cars to start from the pitlane. This tweak will be welcome for those squads that are juggling only a few components in their engine pool and have introduced upgraded parts.

Furthermore, the FIA has added a provision to the rules to allow temporary repairs of power units.
...

Deflection tests to check on the flexibility of rear wings and beam wings have been updated, and mirror rules have been altered to help improve visibility.

Following problems some teams have faced with fuel cooling issues pre-race this year, they will now be allowed to chill fuel to 20C at hotter races.

The FIA also approved changes to the timing of media activities at F1 weekends, with the preview events now returning to Thursdays rather than on the Fridays they have been so far throughout 2022. ..."

Haai shame. everyone is a victim and are offended. This has nothing to do with Max and he does not even have to make a statement. Piquet is the only one that needs to answer as it was him who made the comments. Not his daughter, not Max, not Red Bull or F1

So the whole thing should've been ignored according to you? Because this is probably how it went in the past.

"So let me respond by phrasing a question in an accusative manner to temp you into an argument because I'm bored and fuelled by keyboard fights"

So that not what you were suggesting?

You know you can disable that crap

It might be petty but it's the rules, and it's not a new rule either.
Pure gossip and clickbait
He has not been banned, he just faces it, as he has for the past few races.
Let's not feed the Trolls or the Fringe web sites and just stick to the facts.
