Seems Checo will in fact be starting P13 for the sprint

Eish man, I wonder what happened there. Just driver error or something with the car maybe, considering the 2 aborted laps?
Is it's Perez's fault that the FIA were asleep? Thus it is probably best that his Q2 time should designate his position. It's not like they can retrospectively fix the situation for Gasly which is unfortunate despite gaining a place on the grid.On Perez: Unacceptable to impose a penalty after qualifying for an incident in Quali session 2. The stewards excuse that they were too busy shouldn't fly. They were quick to jump on every track limit violation in the last corner so why not for Perez cutting that other right hander? Grid drop should have been 5 places, not all the way to his pre Q2 place.
Not quite sure I've seen that level of celebration in many years for a driver crashing. I think it's a false equivalence to consider boo'ing on the same level. On Crofty: so much crying about the crowd kicking off with Hamilton's prang, yet not a word when Max was boo'ed at every moment in Silverstone. I'm not saying the Austria crowd wasn't in the wrong, but Crofty showed his British bias.
This year they've struggled with the direction compared to previous years. On the TV direction: No footage of the pole sitters lap. Only switch to onboard facing Max's helmut when he was already over the line! Asleep much?
Pretty weird to even call Perez in to explain. The outcome is fair though. Is it's Perez's fault that the FIA were asleep? Thus it is probably best that his Q2 time should designate his position. Stop listening to Sky, problem solved. On Crofty

On Max: I did not see that P1 lap coming considering timing was showing yellow sectors.
Nothing, one lap less in the sprint. So an extra formation lap means what for fuel?
