These types don't belong near a race track. But that's to be expected from the Dutch sport hooligans. They're up there with the Brits when it comes to football hooliganism so why would this be different:

I think the way they treated the female staff and fans not in their group was even worse, while it's unacceptable against Hamilton at least he is slightly removed from direct abuse and to a certain degree already expects it, the reports of drunk orange army fans sexually harassing young females just doing their jobs is much worse, imo.

Could all the Mick Schumacher doubters who a few weeks ago were saying he didn't belong there and was riding on his father's coattails please stand up and be counted? :cautious:

If you took the rabid extremist Hamilton and Verstappen fans out of the equation (ie. off Twitter for instance...and there appears to be a LOT of them), F1 would be a much better place.
The hate between the 2 lots is too much. I don't like Hamilton, but don't support Verstappen either so have no dog in the fight, but both sides are pathetic. They're basically extremists.

I agree with you. The Ham vs Ver (fanbases) stuff on Twitter and Reddit is disgusting and quite frankly, irritating because it takes up so much space.

I get the feeling that the Dutch fans decided to outdo the Brits from a week ago, and they appear to have succeeded.

That was me and one or two races does not a future championship contender make. If he keeps on finishing top 10 for the rest of the season, then we'll talk.

I think he is also hampered by an inconsistent car - it performs really well at tracks like Spielberg but then is way off the pace on others
 
As a Ferrari fan, I must say/share that I find the posts in r/formuladank kak funny, especially the stuff they post about Binoto. Well done (the real) baby Schumi. I hope he finds consistency with his current form.

Well, he's started. Raced very well against Hamilton in the Sprint race, and then held his own yesterday. And this is in a Haas with no upgrades. Well, none that we know of.
It's great for him.

They all joined different teams and raced under different rules. Difficult to compare across eras. Mick arguably joined the second worst team who have made some major progress this year...

There is a bit of context when you look at the teams they drove for in the formative parts of their careers.

Michael was driving for Benetton by his second race and Benetton were a great little race-winning team in the late-80s to the mid-90s, generally considered to be the ''best of the rest'' behind Williams, McLaren and Ferrari (often beating Ferrari), having never finished lower than 4th in the constructors since 1988. In today's context, it would be like entering F1 with McLaren. You could do a lot worse.

Ralf entered with Jordan, a solid midfield team.

Mick entered with Haas, who were essentially running a 2020-spec car last year with no development, a car which was one of the worst in 2020 and clearly the worst a year later.
