Back to current day. At least we got something for our early alarms this morning.

Time to shower, drive and then get the office desk ready for FP2. Telling my staff it's DND until 9:30.
 
Can we please replace Latifi with someone who understands the layout of a racetrack?

Honestly this oke is useless. And then his response, "Not sure what happened there. The car...real strange. Anyways I'm okay." Lolwut? Tsek naaier go eat maple syrup and chop trees or chase squirrels.

I am sure Jost cannot wait to get rid of him...

And as of today, I am sure Mick's days at Haas are numbered too. Wrecked major parts after the flag had been thrown.

F1 needs to seriously look at fairer stop and restart procedures for all scenarios imho. They should also introduce individual driver lap deltas for the first lap that each driver needs to be under by the completion of the lap to a maximum of x seconds.
 
So from social media, it has been shown that Max and Lando are good friends. Even ride sharing Max's jet...

But my f#k, when the 2 end up on track and something unfortunate happens, Lando is a whiney little B*tch quite willing to throw Max to the wolves....

Today's incident in Q3 was an unfortunate incident where both parties were partly responsible in my opinion (Lando going at high speed to pass Max before the final corner/ chicane and Max not seeing Lando and losing the rear under acceleration). But Lando told the media at every opportunity that Max deserved a penalty.

I'd make him buy his own ticket home.....

When you get cut off in traffic by a taxi that forces you over a curb and onto the verge to avoid a collision do you stay calm and composed or do you become a whiney little b*tch? I'm sure its the latter yet you feel the need to use loaded language where Max is clearly at fault despite his explanation. A reprimand is fair but sooner or later this will result in a serious accident even if unintentional which is why Lando (and I'm sure many) might feel that a penalty is suitable.

Yep this outcome would have been very different if lando went into the wall as a result of max' stupidity
 
And just for the record Lando never said that Max should be penalised he merely answered a loaded Question.
Martin Brunel asked "If you had done that would you expect to be penalised?" to which he replied "Yes".
