They should be Ferrari Sponsors.
Ferrari are definitely in need of a partner that can prevent a Cock-Up on the Pit Wall ;)

Out of interest, has anyone ever been that far ahead before in F1 in terms of points?

Schumacher won the 2002 championship with 6 races to go, which remains the record for the fastest championship victory.

He had 96 points out of a maximum of 110 points at the time. Montoya was second on 34 points. In terms of percentage, he had scored 33.5% of all available points. Currently Max has scored 24% of all available points.

It was because of the 2002 season that they changed the points system at the time, reducing the points margin the winner had over the runner-up to avoid someone running away with it so quickly.

Now there's an interesting exercise....
What would the results look like on the old scoring system? Anyone have the time?

Here you go... fascinating. The Yellow ones are the positions that would be affected by the points difference with Piastri being one point above Norris.

Also, only positions 2-4 would have a statistical chance of winning other than Max. Second place is still up for grabs this year, not so much on the old points system.

If you do it over the same period (11 races), Max would have 102 pts after 11 races vs Michael's 96.

However, Perez in second would have 47 pts vs Montoya on 34, meaning the championship would still mathematically be alive as Checo would ''only'' have a 55-point deficit with 6 rounds to go, vs the unassailable 62-point lead Michael had over Montoya at the same point.

Michael's lead is still bigger, and he wins the championship sooner. Max has been more dominant though, securing a greater percentage of available points.

So if Max wins at Zandvoort he equals Vettels win streak from 2013, crazy.
You mean Adrian Newey equals his record!
Vettel - yet another example of why raw driver talent isn't enough in this sport.

Your points for Alonso are wrong. He got 2nd in Monaco.

Lol big W for Bottas. Loses his seat at Merc and still gets paid more than his replacement.
Bottas is around 7 years Russel"s senior in the sport. Why should Russel earn more?
Bottas lost around 30% of his earnings when he moved. Not a big W in my books.
