A lot has said about the car Mercedes had this year, but remember when Hamilton took himself out and almost dragged Russell with him? Russell recovered and ended 4th (If memory serves). That was quite impressive IMHO.

I agree that Redbull had an amazing car, but I also think Mercedes just shat on their own stoep way too often. Maybe less yada yada and more vroom vroom, eh?

Maybe its because I started following F1 again this year (thanks superbru), but at times it really felt like a soapie.

Still my favourite moment of the year:

Just opened this thread in an incognito window (so signed out of everything) and it still works fine...
 
Found this on Reuters:
Twitter will now require users to have an account on the social media platform to view tweets, a move that owner Elon Musk on Friday called a "temporary emergency measure".

"We were getting data pillaged so much that it was degrading service for normal users!" Musk said in a tweet.

Musk has previously expressed displeasure at artificial intelligence firms like OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT, using Twitter's data to train their large language models.

"We absolutely will take legal action against those who stole our data & look forward seeing them in court, which is (optimistically) 2 to 3 years from now," he said.

Thanks Dave but there is still no context.
The above would imply that MAX was the lowest earning driver and Sargent the highest so I doubt it is salaries or Bonus payouts.

It's a summation of much each point cost the team to get.
