Both true. We know Stroll is a write off.

But the point is even a 45 year old Alonso wouldn't be able to get the best out of a Newey car. None of us can escape age and claim that we're just as sharp now as we were 20 years ago. They would need a strong relatively young first driver to get the best out of that car. Alonso at best can provide feedback into the development of the car. Maybe that's the plan until he retires...

If RB does not give Max a good car, perhaps he will look at them for 2026. Plenty of RB folk already headed over there.

Best season so far since ive been watching F1 because of how mixed up it is.

First time you see that? The only part you did not quote is a link you just click to watch it on Youtube.
Some Channels do that because they want the ad revenue when people watch it on YT.

Obvious pick, but I'm glad for the guy. Maybe he can add to those 6 points

If he scores, and scores well, I wonder if Haas would stick with him for the rest of the year and give Kev his marching orders. Haas are only 6 points off VCarb RB and with the difference in prize money substantial, Haas should be doing all they can to finish 6th. If binning Kev and putting Bearman in for the rest of the season achieves that, then that's what they would have to do.

I dont know if any driver scored points at 2 different teams in one season.

You really think he is going to out drive Nico in that piece of crap car?

Anything is possible, I don't rate any of the hasbeens on the grid. Then again Bearman is a rookie and a crash is probably more likely. When He drove for Ferrari I think the main plan was not to crash a fast car as to impress. Now he has a contract so maybe he is going to "push" in a shitbox.

No, but he may outdrive Magnussen so Haas would then potentially have two drivers scoring points instead of one carrying the team
Magnussen won't be in the race, but Nico will be. There usually only 2 spaces available in the top 10 positions in a race to even score points. In your scenario now, both Haas cars would have to finish inside the points. A very very low chance that would happen.

Yip, in the red car he had a much higher chance of ending in the points, just by having a much faster car.

I just don't see him scoring points in the next race. If he does, I will be ready to eat humble pie.

I am not really worried about scoring points. I want to see how he goes against Hulkenberg. I know its a bit of a stretch as he is a rookie and never driven the car, would have been better to see him over say 10 races against Kev.
But my theory stands that the likes od Mag, Hulk, Bottas, Perez, Ricciardo etc are not that fast anymore and just have seats because its "safer" with their experience.
