Like this https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdS3bvRB5IRr2Q2Y0Js4QybBLn_9a2tP0what I am saying is you are missing out on Technical breakdowns of the upgrades brought by the teams in great detail by Sam Collins.
I agree that it can't be done in 5 days. @thestaggy claimed a street circuit has about 360 days per year where equipment can be used for something else.
Usage. A street circuit is used for less than a week.
A permanent facility requires year-round upkeep and maintenance.
It is FIA approved for Formula E so should not take much to be brought up to F1 standard, unless Las Vegas was granted an exception.A street circuit causes a disruption to the area's traffic for multiple months each year.
Cape Town street circuit is not rated for F1.
If F1 comes to SA in the short term and without a long term deal it’ll be at Kyalami. It’s just too big of a circus. It is FIA approved for Formula E so should not take much to be brought up to F1 standard, unless Las Vegas was granted an exception.

Well I have been following F1 since the 60's and watching since to 80's so the BBC coverage is now replaced by the SKY coverage and the 2000's style is actually quite new.
But each to their own. I don't give a damn for social media coverage etc of the new era of F1, so the British style and commentary still suits me just fine thanks.
As thickI love the way baxteen refers to British bias commentary and then makes a big deal about how he loves listening to Sam Collins, who is British.
No wonder he named himself after an Afrikaans brick…
I also prefer the F1TV commentary team, but I also understand wanting the usual team too.I love the way baxteen refers to British bias commentary and then makes a big deal about how he loves listening to Sam Collins, who is British.

Same here, back then the only way to follow F1 was via the newspapers and seeing the race highlight reels at the local cinema a few weeks later.Well I have been following F1 since the 60's and watching since to 80's so the BBC coverage is now replaced by the SKY coverage and the 2000's style is actually quite new.

Ever since the retirement and subsequent Passing of Murray Walker it has been a matter of trying to find the least annoying commentator out there. My current favorite is Harry Benjamin, who has filled in for Crofty a few times.Same here, back then the only way to follow F1 was via the newspapers and seeing the race highlight reels at the local cinema a few weeks later.
