Makes me wonder if Kyalami setup would be similar, but Mexico City is 500m higher thoughCrazy that they run Monaco levels of downforce in Mexico, yet still hit top speeds well in excess of 350kph. Just goes to show what an effect the rarified air has.
Item #3 was done without Adrian's inputMy money's on Leclerc for another win!

Albon endangering his 2025 seat there in FP1 I see
We may actually have a weekend without dive bombing...Holy crap imagine if Verstappen has to replace his power unit
Several minutes later and it seems much more likely that they will replace it and Max will have to start at the back with Albon & RussellWe may actually have a weekend without dive bombing...
And these things get decided with no input from the teams (the original decision)?“No relevant new element, petition rejected.” The new element McLaren submitted essentially was the decision document itself.

It’s just being cheeky. The evidence is that their decision and how they came to it wasn’t available until after the hearing. Once again though there is almost zero chance of introducing anything new if the stewards truly don’t want it to be considered new.And these things get decided with no input from the teams (the original decision)?
TLDR irrespective of whether the stewards original decision was flawed or not, you can’t appeal without new evidence and that evidence can’t include the stewards decision as that’s not new to the stewards.
The lack of knowledge on this thread is just amazing.
Any top motor racer will know exactly what the rules state and will exploit them to the limits. If you don't you not a champion.
The rules state that you are not allowed to overtake outside the track limits. Easy as that. If anyone has a problem with how top drivers apply that rule, change the rules. The best driver will use what he can under the current rules.
The wannabees will cry and object race after race after race. And their fans will whine week after week after week.
We are not race drivers, we are just fans. We don't study the rule book or anything, we just watch the race weekend. The lack of knowledge on this thread is just amazing.
The drivers do understand the rules, but each team actually has someone on staff to study the rules of the formula to look for loopholes and to make sure the team isn't breaking the rules in some way.Any top motor racer will know exactly what the rules state and will exploit them to the limits. If you don't you not a champion.
The rules for overtaking are complicated, probably more complicated than we all realise. The rules state that you are not allowed to overtake outside the track limits. Easy as that. If anyone has a problem with how top drivers apply that rule, change the rules. The best driver will use what he can under the current rules.
This is the pinnacle of motor racing, everyone has a favourite team or driver and they don't want to see them treated unfairly. Go back a few decades and you will see the same thing.... I'm not sure what you were expecting. The wannabees will cry and object race after race after race. And their fans will whine week after week after week.
UHM let me explain to you again. What do the rules say about the defending driver ALSO leaving the track to prevent the attacking driver from passing? Surely het should also get a penalty for gaining an advantage?
Sorry im not as clever as you, and might come across as a whiner
