I honestly think they should put him in that Red Bull car before Lawson, even if its just a few races. He has earned his shot, he's done his time.
Probably his temperament. Lawson has also impressed more given he's far less experienced...

Some Stroll content while we wait for the next race 😂

He's grown into a decent racer in his time in F1. Heck, he was even near the front of the pack in Brazil.
His temprament has also cooled a lot. Hopefully he does well in that test at Red Bull.
I have very mixed feelings on both. Lawson has done more than many in the short time he’s been in his seat. Yuki has, as you said, done the time and has delivered some good performance.

Lawson being RB’s reserve driver probably is the obvious choice unless Yuki delivers something special at the test. Colapinto may mix it up a bit if the whole RB consideration is true.

I'd be very happy to watch Max / Lawson in Red Bull while Yuki / Colapinto man the Racing Bulls in 2025. That would be quite a special line up. But we mustn't forget that Hadjar is also in contention for a Racing Bulls seat.

Lawson has the aggressive racing style which would get that Red Bull to the front and agitate the front runners. I find Yuki to be more cautious these days. I suppose it would depend on what Horner wants.

And Max… #1 after all.

Another guy who seems to keep missing opportunities to get into F1

How are power rankings determined? Is there a science to it, or is it based on "vibes"?
Think it’s a calculated metric trending or somewhat favoring recent performances. Max had the highest ranking this last race but however they calculate it is still just below.

I found the explanation here if anyone wants to read:

Because he is not good enough. It is really that simple.
