But will they have competitive strategists...If Ferrari has a competitive car in 2025 we'll never hear the end of this.

Funding is funding.I think we know that a powertrain means nothing on its own. A constructor is a constructor.
FTFYEither would be mad to accept that seat.
It's where you go to kill your career for failing to adapt to Max’ car...
Merc were shareholders?Funding is funding.
Even Alonso would be told not to step on Max toesWhich tier 1 driver are they going to get to do that? None of them would be fine with playing second fiddle to Max. Only option is possibly someone who's on their way out anyway, like Alonso...
Yes? 40% at one point. They wanted to buy the team outright.Merc were shareholders?
Going to be interesting to see how Charles and Lewis perform on the track this year when there is overtaking each other. Who cuts who off and who causes crashes?
My view is Merc’s driver will solely rest on how Kimi performs in F2 this year. If he dominates he’ll probably get an F1 seat - if he struggles probably will spend another year in F2 and Merc will seek a short term fill which could be old school or Mick. I’m also not convinced that Russell is a lock at Merc for 2026 onwards. Regardless, Merc has hemorrhaged much of their engineering talent in the last few years so Toto has got more than just drivers to worry about.I can actually see Vettel returning tbh. German driver, lots of experience. Indicated that he still wants to race. Could be a good teacher to young Russel.
Alonso could also be an option as well as Albon.
But Merc could do the rebuilding thing and put a Schumacher in there with Russel for 2025.
