Max will have no competition as long as management build the team around him. Everyone else on the grid knows that.
Or Max has no competition as he is a generational talent and there's no one else on the grid who can hold a candle to him. Think Michael Jordan, Phil Taylor, Usain Bolt, Tiger Woods in their peak.

100%, this is the era of Max and he will dominate for years as Hamilton did.

2026 is going to be big.

It will be a lot about the engine.

Merc's PU was was well ahead during the Hamilton/Rosberg domination years - Red Bull may have had decent aero, but the Renault rubbish and then early Honda engines were down on performance. In 2020/2021, Red Bull finally had a competitive engine to match their aero.

From 2022, engine freeze in place, aero is now dominating. And Mr Aero at Red Bull is clearly streaks ahead.

2026 is very unknown. Will RB Power Trains be able to deliver a front of field PU? Will RB maintain the aero edge? The cars will probably be shorter, narrower and lighter than they are currently. It's going to be a real shake up and even as a huge Max and RB fan, the sport needs this reset again to hopefully reintroduce the excitement of unknowns.

2026 is reportedly still to be very ground effect aero related, which may swing things towards Adrian Newey again as he has real experience from decades ago (Indy car or something, I can't remember). But the PU changes are going to be big, especially for RB moving away from Honda completely.

At least be consistent. You think Hamilton benefitted from his car but do not think Verstappen does lol
Well we were talking about half a second a lap faster than even your teammate. His teammate only came second in the championship once.
A pretty average driver like Rosberg won a championship in that car.
Most of the championships in the Merc era was Merc 1 and 2

You want a generational talent? Here you go.

Well that's a nothing burger.
What can we glean from this?
1) Anything is possible.
2) Verstappen had a falling out with Horner.
Haha I saw plenty online saying the same about Lewis when the rumors swirled mid season. If everyone is so sold on RB in 2026 with Ford having a brick of a car why wouldn’t Jos and Max either? But sure, it could be a nothing burger…

As far as I am concerned, Ferrari only has one car on the grid next year.
I'm not following.
You hate Hamilton so much you've become a 50% Ferrari supporter?
Ferrari think Hamilton's the bomb. They're paying him more than any driver in the history of the sport.

Yeah, we all know F1 is more about cars but there are some okes who think Schumacher and Verstappen won because of talent but Hamilton won because of the car only. They just hate Hamilton for some reason.
