Yeah, okes forget that F1 is a business like any other at the end of the day. It's also about marketability and the fact is that Hamilton is probably the most marketable guy on the grid.

I've said he is talented but benefits because of the car. He is probably the best driver on the grid now as Hamilton was during his years of dominance. The Hamilton hate force cannot concede that LH was the best.

LOL most true F1 fans know drivers start at the bottom and work their way up if they are really good. Not just get the best car as a rookie.
Then you go to the extreme and get a Micheal Schumacher who was already the best. Sacrificed a few championships to build a useless Ferrari into a winning outfit. Thats is why most F1 people in the know, will up to now, call Schumacher the best ever. Maybe Verstappen will be regarded higher one day, or someone else.
 
Is there a way to renew the f1tv sub before the price increases?

As luck would have it, mine renews shortly after the price increase in April...

Mine renew in 2 weeks and it already says next payment is $59.99.
They even had the new subscription special at -15% that ended on 25Feb and the 15% was of $59.99. So the new price is there already.
What I want to know is how the monthly work. If you take it say on the 20th of the month will it then run till the 20th of the next month?
Then I am going to try using the monthly $5.99. End of the year beginning next year there is 2 months anyway you not paying. Plus Summer break and other weeks here and there you might score a month somewhere and then cheaper.

Can't predict the future, but unless RBR suffers a major setback that record is probably gone by end of the season.

And unless Ferrari + Hamilton pulls off something amazing next onwards that record will probably stand for a long time especially if you consider the co start efforts to make the cars more equal.

One of the ultimate records for me. I know we race more these days and Clark/Ascari raced 60 odd years ago, but this is the list of ultimate and dominant drivers+car combinations who just destroyed the rest of the field.
