And for several years I used the DSTv app on my TV until they declared it obsolete at 6 months old (following a forced update) and told me I had to buy the shiny new DSTv Streamer box.
The DSTv windows and the android apps still works though, so My laptop and Android TV device can both quite happily stream it.
However, as they are only re streaming SkyF1 anyway, I go straight to the source and stream Sky F1 directly.
Is it Illegal? debatable as I have paid for the content and am watching it at the time that it is aired locally, so I am just cutting out a bit of network lag and watching better quality advertising.

So just say pirate streams when you mean pirate streams?

I've had a F1TV subscription for a couple of years and only ever used it via internet. I don't think there is another way to access their broadcast.
If you need the explanation then fine. I thought it was obvious enough.

nee f0k man.

Sky is by far the worst commentry of any of the F1 options.
just get F1tv and get better visuals, better commentry and better analasys and interviews.

when I move to pirating the stream I will first try to get a log in from someone else instead of my own on F1TV, I know a few people who bought yearly....

Technically yes but they won't arrest you for it. IMO, they should rather focus on tracking the creators of those links rather than ordinary people if they want to make a difference. It seems betting companies are behind it as the ads often redirect to their sites.

Checo's a fine driver, that Redbull is designed around max's driving style.

More like Checo's setup is not as good for him as Max's setup on his car is to him.

I think it was Albon or somebody who mentioned that Max's setup is crazy sensitive. Checo's setup is not that sensitive.

Checo is faster than everybody else in the field except for Max. So it's not like the car "doesn't suit him". If Max wasn't his teammate Checo would be the champion.

Jassas you lot are a bunch of casuals...

(I am definitely not using someone else's DSTV login details to watch)

Serious note, I agree though. Apart from quali day, which is by far the most entertaining, race days last year apart for maybe 4 or 5 races, were quite uneventful.
Let’s not forget where these races are… UAE, Bahrain, Saudi… too many rubbish tracks.

Yeah pay drivers normally bring sponsors, eyeballs to the team/sport.

He does vkol. " Daddy I want to drive a f1 car..."
Lance brought pops. He was a pay driver at Williams too. Do you think Lawrence is into spending his money on F1 teams?

How or why is it allowed for the verstopens to dictate anything?

Horner built this team to what it is today. He should just ban Jos from the grg. If max wants to go as a result then lets get alonso in there next year

Everyone wants Max, that's understandable. Jos trying to live his life through his son and make up for his own failures, that's pathetic...

This guy has been a disaster for the FIA/F1...

Yep. Fudging by the FIA. Who remembers the Max Mosely years?
I mean... just the fact that one team gets more $$ than all others regardless of performance is proof that there's fiddling going on.
The sport is now owned and run by the oil barons.

The FIA seem to have a culture that encourages such behaviour

They never fudged the rules though or interfered in stewards decisions to my knowledge... They made unpopular decisions for some but were consistent - at least imho.

You realise you are basing this all on second/third hand information mostly published by questionable click bait "media" sites, right?

We never see full transcripts of what is said or what they're doing behind closed doors.

Nah this is what's currently happening anyway, regardless of any future moves.

Why is he even saying things like Horner is going to make Red Bull explode, or commenting on anything RB. The team principle is in charge of the team and putting out statements regarding the team, not him...
