I'm hoping Alonso can get in on the action but he has come out and tempered expectations regarding their pace, saying that it was the same in Bahrain where they were quick in free practice but fell away in qualy and the race. George is looking good though so assuming the Red Bulls lock out the top two steps, it could be a straight shootout between le Clerc and him for the 3rd.

Second is to for grabs, Checo isn't great at qualifying...

Yeah but he likes this track though. He might stick it in a decent spot for quali.

Reckon it will be Max, LeClerc, Checo/Russel for top 3 quali spots.

He seems to go better here though, having taken pole last year and in 2022. I'm also guessing that the all-round nature of the RB car (including it's superior DRS) will allow him to still come through the field should he qualify lower down again.

Is anyone else seeing moments of video loss which looks like buffering?

Not my connection as F1 TV streams in full HD no problem.

Watching on PC, video is smooth. Did you pay your TV License? That may be why it's slow.

The DSTV stream is horribly oversubscribed, they have nowhere near the bandwidth to cover all the accounts they have signed up.
That is the main reason I watch SKY despite being subscribed to DSTv.
 
Logan practicing his crash before the race tomorrow.

I don't think that's what Free Practice is for.
