Some lovely overtakes in that race. RB in a class of their own. Ferrari did well. Merc are just slow. Weird radio message from Lewis too, I wonder if he had an issue or just knew George would be faster.

Fantastic for Yuki as well :D

Also, not sure if anyone else noticed this, but Ricciardo needs to go away.

I think he knew it was useless holding George up as he would have cost his race so rather give him a fighting chance which actually worked out in the end

Really happy Yuki managed to get points too.

Whole weekend sucked for Williams but they knew they wouldn’t be too competitive, hopefully they can fix the chassis ahead of China

that comment though

He must really live in your head, seeing that you keep that dumb meme on speed-dial...

Nope, there’s this modern concept of having a picture gallery on a phone, if you ever manage to operate a smartphone you might encounter it.

The image is saved in said gallery, and whenever vaaldum comes in with his pet race hate I pop the meme in to let him know it has been noticed.

As they say, it’s hardly rocket science…

I think Piastri may surprise.

I think Piastri will win a real race long before Norris will get one. That's if Norris even ever does get one. He's a bit too limp wristed around the red bulls, even Checo breezes past him.

Piastri just comes across as more hungry for the win. In my humble opinion at least.

despite only getting to bed at 3am, I managed to wake up in time for what I thought was pre race show at 7. I tuned in as the green flag waved before the start. no idea why I thought it started at 8am.

it was an entertaining race. I did doze off a few times but that was not the race's fault. I woke up to great overtakes, or pit strategy moves. sad that Max and Checko are dominating so much.

I have been saying its time for Riccardo to go since Lawson showed us what he could do last year. looking forward to seeing him in the car for Miami.

Super happy for Yuki. he drove like well all weekend and deserved his point for it.

Sad how bad Seargant did when the pressure was on him to really perform to show he was worth the risk Vowels took on him.
Happy that there wasnt a 40 second pit stop for Sauber (unless I had a "long blink" and missed it)

I also kept thinking that Lewis just sounds so dejected. He really does not want to be there and with 20 races to go, I wonder how much longer he can go before it boils over.

Yeah Yuki was fantastic and he really did hammer a nail into Danny's career imo.

Mclaren/Lando threw away that podium.

Last time I looked, Checo breezes past the entire field bar Max. The exception was Australia. Still, for Piastri to win a race this year, he’s got to beat Norris first.

The F1TV app is still so buggy. I much prefer the international English broadcast, the default one can be so ridiculous at times lol. Switching to international after the race has started then casting to TV results in the race starting from scratch…

And those commentators… who was it that was saying Charles was racing for second place? 1:33:45 in… One lap before Checo on 7 lap younger tyres took him like he didn’t exist. There were still 17 laps to go lol. Nobody else was thinking Charles could hold a RB off for 17 laps surely. At least the Sky crew has ex F1 drivers commentating.

Mercedes are not off to a very good start this year :(

May be an image of 1 person and text that says The amount of points Mercedes has scored in the first 4 races since 2020: 2020- 146 points 2021-141 points 2022- 77 points 2023- 76 points 2024- 34 points INEOS

True, but he could at least try to put up some defense, he just never comes across as a winner. And when he could've won he messed up and swore at his race director. And even I was rooting for him that day....

F1TV has Jolyon Palmer. And Hinchcliffe knows a thing or two about driving fast cars himself

Well I did not renew my F1tv as the wife got iptv for 15 months and I thought lets give it a try. So I was watching on SKY. On the second restart Leclerc pass Hamilton first corner I think, yet the commentator say Hamilton is challenging Leclerc, LOL what an bias idiot.

Would love to know which one thought LeClerc was racing for 2nd place. He must have been the only one watching who thought that.

How do you suppose that would have helped his race - which wasn't with RB?

Yeah, Mercedes have regressed to their original form post Macca. This is an engineering sport and Merc lost a lot their good engineers and their Aero fundis aren't getting on top of things.

No one is on the level of RB, so everyone should just roll over for them? Anyway, doesn't help debating this. It just looks to me as if Oscar usually puts up a bit more of a fight.
