I didn't see it. Comments said Piastri ran him wide and he had to escape to the pit lane. I love how the takes are completely opposite :D
The way I saw it, 4 cars all bunched up to start a lap, Lewis went for the gap to overtake Piastri and start his lap but Piastri was well ahead and went wide in the last corner to straighten up for the start of his lap.

My opinion is that Lewis, in attempting to overtake Piastri at the last corner, was over eager and the cause of the near miss. Others may see it differently.

I guess that's the sort of nonsense that happens when they've not driven a track in 5 years and the FIA gives them 1 practice session. Thankfully no contact, that would have been a mess.

Could have been, sounds like it was from Flash's comments.

What's up with Merc and Ferrari, so massively off the pace. Were they running slowly or maybe just checking wear and strategy and whatnot?
