Were it any other lap then he would have been given a penalty BUT the stewards have painted themselves into this nothing-space where they (un)officially treat Lap 1 Corner 1 incidents differently
Turn 1 has always been a thing though, ever since I can remember. There's no easy way to regulate it. This specific incident had a bunch of variables already at play, and I'm not one to easily defend Hamilton...

Imagine being such a dumbass that you change your team because someone you don't like supports it.
Or in this case the team supports him ..............
And if you bothered to read, and not just Troll,
you would have seen that it was HAM that I was switching teams for.

Yea, it's a weird spot. Turn 1 is a thing and some allowance should be provided, given then chaos that is lap 1. On the other hand, blatant nonsense should be reprimanded. It's a weird one.

It's just silly. A very emotional reaction to something that has nothing to do with the sport. Nor even the team. It just appears to be Brown who seems to like him, why change teams for that?

Anyway, do your thing man.

I hope this race is somewhat interesting. Watching the Spring and quali, I'm not really expecting much.

Agree, even the F1 academy races a bit of a procession, but entertaining.
Not expecting much from the F1 race but it can be unpredictable racing in a car park rather than on a decent surface.

May the new and improved Danny Ricciardo finish in the top 10 today.

You mean P18 Ricciardo? I doubt it man. Holding Sainz back is one thing but moving forward in that RB, I don't know hey. I reckon maybe P13.

It’s not about defending Hamilton, it’s about defending the sport. People lose their minds with this driver support nonsense. No driver is worth more than the sport.
