It's crazy. Fortunately, mine is up for renewal around the time I get my SARS rebate so if I have any left after some other priorities are taken care of, I can renew. But the jump in price was scary from 2022 to 2023.

This feels less painful on a monthly basis - I only really use it for the post quali/race media conferences and for Jolyon Palmer's full race analysis, but I can't bring myself to cancel.

For some reason mine renewed at R800 for the year. Not complaining at all

R87 per month... probably more like R120 per month considering some months have one race and some have none.

Agree. There's kerb and gravel, they should just can the limit nonsense on those corners.

Yeah its about R120 a month give or take, for the season length.. but they're making the same mistake other services have made. They're going on about all these "extra" things we get, when I literally don't give a toss about them, I want Free Practice/Quali/Sprint and Race.. you can keep all the other value added shyte that I'll never watch.

Its likely that I will renew for another year at this point, but if they hike the price any further than it will definitely be a hard pass going forward.

All I care about are quali, sprint and race.
I nearly didn't buy this time around either. Kodi + addons for the future possibly, especially considering the F1tv app is buggy.
 
Giving us 4k via F1TV Pro would be a game changer, but it seems Sky will continue to be the monopoly holder on that.

Yeah if the stream was 4K and streamed decently, then maybe I would balk less at the R1000 a year fee.
