"CHECO HASN'T SIGNED THE RENEWAL! Red Bull already has a one-year contract, but Checo Pérez has made a counter-proposal for two years"
What is he up to? He lost 2nd in the standings and if he keeps on like this, Norris is going to be ahead of him. It's been a decent start to the season for him, but 2nd is a must.

Does he maybe have a (possibly 2 year) offer somewhere else ?

If they need an Italian Reporter which would you choose:

Frederica or Davide
100% Davide

This guy was, apart from the last 5 laps, the most entertaining thing of the weekend.

What a comeback by Lando, he is ever so slightly smelling a hint of championship glory, but it aint his time yet I think. Max will now go into 2021 mode and fight like crazy. This season has just become so much better!

Yeah if the stream was 4K and streamed decently, then maybe I would balk less at the R1000 a year fee.
Its basically R46 per race. Not extreme but definitely not cheap.
Problem is I am not at home for every race and sometimes at other people or holiday and can watch on dstv then. So this year I just paying month to month. And I cancel every time I subscribe for a month and only renew the day when I want to watch again. Currently only paid once for the year.

Any opinions on whether this deal is worth it?

For the Qatar F1
It looks like it’s R45000 for accommodations and a 3 day F1 ticket for two people.
Then you have to pay for the flights as well. That looks like about R28 000.

@Naks maybe you can advise?

R25k pp including flights, accommodation and 3-day access.

I wouldn't feel comfortable taking my wife any near the middle east though, no matter what anyone says...

Doesn’t he go via private jet and employs a butler and personal photographer to record the day and then post all the photos online for him?
Yea but he might have a pleb friend he keeps around to keep him humble who gets the budget package.

Flightcentre is probably just reselling the EduSport packages, have a look here: https://www.edusport.co.za/product/qatar-grand-prix-2024/

The T16 package on F1 Experiences is not too bad, R14,757.85 pp, but that's without accommodation: https://f1experiences.com/2024-qatar-grand-prix/starter-turn-16

If you can find your own accommodation, I highly recommend doing the F1 Experience package.

You should also be able to book a full package on the Qatar Airways website, that may work out cheaper.

I would not hesitate to go with Pentravel, we did our first GP through them and it was great.

By far, the cheapest race to attend is Baku: 2 tickets at the last corner only costs +- $1200. However, getting to & from there is a PITA, and by now all the hotels are fully booked.

I'm going to predict a Le Clerc pole, with an Oscar close second, followed by Max
