Main difference being we didn't have the radio comms back then the way we do now. Would have been equally entertaining back then I'm sure.

True, but I do have a hard time picturing Mika Hakkinen whining on the radio. Maybe a couple of sarcastic quips, but not a whinger.

We'll know in a few years whether he's trailer park or class, if he tries to shoot his gf through the bathroom door. He has the name...
He may have the same first name, but his surname starts with a different... Oh, wait

Nothing is impossible (remember the secret Ferrari deal whereby the FIA told them they had to alter the engine and remove some trickery and then lost a chunk of performance as a result)

BUT, I have not seen nearly enough chatter from trusted sources that I follow on X to substantiate these Red Bull allegations from 1 source so far.

Same, which has me wondering. No idea who the author is, or even that "pundit" so could just be throwing stuff at walls to see what sticks.

Either way, this is a great championship fight for a change, so I'm happy with it.

Red Bull has also had way reduced wind tunnel time this year due to their crushing dominance last year and that could now be coming back to haunt them. I think it is only now that they're allowed to ramp up wind tunnel operations as the summer break looms so will see how that plays out regarding their performance in the second half of the year.

Yea good point. And now they do it without Newey, though I'm sure he left a word doc with some ideas an strategies for them to follow.

Verstappen facing severe penalty for Belgian GP: https://racingnews365.com/verstappen-facing-severe-penalty-for-belgian-gp

"... RacingNews365 understands Red Bull has now opted to take for the event at Spa-Francorchamps.

For the race weekend, Verstappen will be fitted with a new ICE.

As a result, he is set to start the Belgian Grand Prix 10 places further back on the grid than he will qualify.

Spa has often served as a destination for teams to take a deliberate engine penalty due to the high probability of overtaking around the 7.004km circuit. ..."

And so it begins. Max with a new engine at Spa may be a force to be reckoned with.

normally I am keen for rain and changing conditions, it makes for interesting racing.

but not at spa.
lets just have a dry weekend so all the drivers for the weekend survive.
in case we loose another F2 driver. spa has claimed enough lives

I agree, rain at Spa for any racing event means someone is going to get hurt, would not wish that on anyone
