quite possibly the worst idea to spice up the action i have ever heard.

you're the kind of poofta who made the entire area tar and just painted lines in it... that's not a track

spice it up otherwise it gets boring!

what do you think rally car driving did, reverse grid etc etc

I dont mind more gravel.
but more gravel does not mean a better race, take Paul ricchard for example. lots of gravel, lots of run off. boring race.

and having less room for mistakes does not make a good race either, take Monaco for example.

and having mixed compounds will 100% not make for better racing because now people will need to come pit for new tyres becauae the front left wore our as a soft but the rears are mediums, now there is insane amount of tyre wear.
never mind getting into Quali and having Max out in Q3 because he was on 3 hards that meant he was a second a lap slower than stroll who got lucky and got 4 softs. plus how long would it take for the teams to figure out how to abuse that by running scrubbing sessions gatherign data and figuring out that they can deliberately run a hard on the front left and a medium on the right with 2 softs in the back because that combo would be perfect for the track? then suddenly Merc, Mclaren ,Ferrari and Red bull have a massive advantage again due to the man hours and number crunching they can do that say Williams and Hass simply cannot afford?

that idea was terrible and not at all thought out.

taking away fastest lap def agree with that cause its such a hack that can be exploited

More gravel will mean less overtaking because risk is too high. Also how many safety cars will we have and lost laps with gravel everywhere?

As for mixed compounds. What a joke, next we will have drones dropping oil on the track randomly.

Make F1 exciting again:
- Bring back V10s
- Remove DRS
- Make them the size of the 2002 cars
- Strip out the hybrid stuff
- Boost button that speeds up the car (+250HP) for about 5 seconds that you can use once per lap

are you kidding me F1 is peaking again everyone is watching it
My reasoning is thus:
- Adds to the theatre (Sound so loud your sternum reverberates)
- Small nippy cars can dart around on the track again, making exciting racing
- Removed DRS trains
- Removing the hybrid stuff allows for a smaller, lighter car

However, the cars are almost all the same in terms of performance now.
Next year is going to be a heck of a close championship, and all the rookies are going to be champing at the bit to show up the veterans.

why would you even need refueling?
Currently everybody runs 60-80kg of fuel and pit to change the tyres after a certain number of laps. With refueling, it allowed teams to run lighter cars (less fuel) which would hopefully make them faster than their competitors & changed pitstop strategies completely, not to mention the excitement of driving off with the nozzle stuck to the car or the crew under fuelled the car, so another pitstop had to be made or the old splash & dash.

Every extra kg of fuel ads about 0.3S per lap.
So one car can go for a 30 lap stint on hard tyres and another car can go for two 15 lap stints on soft. With the faster soft tyre and way less fuel(kg) needed for the short stints that car can be 2s or even more faster per lap and thus not only get its time wasted with pit stop back, but also gain and advantage.
It make pit strategies endless, every track will differ and even weather will make different optimal strategies for every track.
Today most teams run the same strategy every race.

Playing Call of duty with peeps in the US and trying to tell them why F1 is better than nascar hahah
