Well Perez's main sponsor is Telmex and they said they might end their sponsor of Red Bull this year. Then they also said they willing to sponsor Colapinto.

lol. Sure guy. A patched up car is the same as one repaired properly.
Nope the one never needed patch work. Both started with the same.
If you and your friend both buy a Tata the same day and your friend drives the shyte out of his and mess it up, you still both have the same car.

Max Verstappen grid penalty confirmed as Mexico engine struggles explained: https://www.planetf1.com/news/max-verstappen-grid-penalty-confirmed-brazilian-gp-helmut-marko

"... Following on from engine issues during last weekend’s Mexico City GP, Red Bull will have to fit a fresh Honda power unit to Verstappen’s RB20 – this engine is outside of the annual allowance, resulting in him serving an automatically triggered grid penalty.

Speaking in his column for Speedweek, Marko revealed the engine issues from last Friday had a cumulative effect on the performance of Verstappen’s car through the weekend. ..."

So is he going to suddenly find magic speed now?

Nah there’s no way Max is losing this WC unless he throws it away.

The problem for Max is that despite his phenomenal talent and ability to get the most out of his car, said car is now at best the third fastest on the grid. So on a good day, assuming he drives the wheels off the thing, he could have 3 cars between himself and Lando. That represents a 15 point swing. Granted, that would mean Norris winning and Max 5th and with a resurgent Ferrari, that isn't a given but it just goes to show the extent of the challenge he is up against.

A fast Ferrari could ultimately be his saviour if it keeps taking points off Norris and limiting the damage.

this season has been really really weird... when does a car / team dominate so much (first 10 races are like 90% RB wins) and then bang nothing in the next 10 races) this is odd to say the least.

If either Max or Lando crash out and have a DNF and the other does well then it's all over for either of them..

Could end up being a Schumi & Villenueve style last GP, frustrations build just like last week, it's natural.

Brazil, Lewis is always very good and so is Max... and it's raining! This will be epic, I don't see an RB engine change needed because of the wet race, they might save it for a dry race (just a thought as the engines aren't worked as hard and things are slower in the wet)

It's definitely building up to a fantastic end of season. Similar but different to 2021 in that now we have multiple drivers fighting for it, though Charles is really an outside chance at this point. But still, good stuff to come. Brazil in the wet makes me moist.
