Just watched the race - crazy crazy Grand Prix.

For those who mentioned changing tyre compounds etc to spice up racing, how about a randomised sprinkler shower for 20 mins every GP?

On a serious note, that surely has to go down as one of the best drives in history. Max was flawless on a day when almost every other driver had some form of spin or run off at some stage. Yes, he had the luck of the red flag but those complaining about that are quick to forget that he was on the wrong end of the red flag in qualifying.

And well done to Alpine. This was a multi million pound win for them today

This race was good fun.

Been the case for a while now. Many people have said that the moment the wet tyre becomes the right tyre to be on, the track becomes too dangerous because of the lack of visibility. Thus the wet tyre is a waste. Take a look at the visibility when the inters are on, and imagine how much worse it is when the cars have wets on.
 
FIA DECISIONS

HAM/RUS Tyre Pressure infringement - team fines 5000 each.

ABORTED START INCIDENTS - NOR fined 5000, RUS fined 5000 - LAW/TSU no further action because they just followed :laugh: which is a little stupid if you ask me.

DANGEROUS DRIVING - SAINZ - moving car while Marshalls tried to recover - reprimand.
 
I liked Lando once upon a time but listening to him talk k@k about "it's not skill it's luck" and there shouldn't have been a red flag, wtf? Kid needs to grow up.

Yeah that was sour grapes if anything. Max pretty much took the championship away from him yesterday.

Hell, what a drive. He put on a masterclass and Norris got schooled.
 
Quite a bit of wingeing in the media/social these days when things don't their way. Its not a great look.

hmmm, so when Perez lined up a little off-line in Mexico and also when Max broke delta as the VSC ended during Brazil sprint it was "harsh but fair" to hand out 5 second penalties, because a start infringement is a start infringement and "what can you do" ...

but these plonkers get fined with no actual impact to their race standings?
 
Lando = sorry but as others have said, we liked him long ago when he was funny and a good driver, now he's some entitled arrogant chop. He has a lot to learn

Hamilton = we are starting to like the old chap, why? because he congratulated Max and said it was a great drive

Max = has and makes many many epic drives, sure some are retarded due frustration, but the epic ones go down in history.
