F1 2025

Lando showing he has what it takes to win the WC this year. Trying hard not to read too much into this one given the weather but see what a difference experience does in an unpredictable wet race like that.

Nice to see two brits on the podium just for vaal dam.
Seems like he did learn from last season. He was decisive about coming in early for the intermediate and not waiting until the rain wets the track...

I didn't see blame. Frustration maybe. I heard Lewis use the word please many times. Perhaps we watch it with different lenses.
He's too busy to do what they want him to do, but he's got time to rehash tactical decisions during the race? Especially about the weather?

It's a timing issue. Asking him to use overtake when he's 1.5s behind the next guy... really? Sure they want him to test it but I can't imagine he wants to waste it.

Just seen the end
Albon my DOTD. What a result for Williams!
Yeah, nice to see Albon get a result. I have Lando as DOTD. Good start, excellent SC restarts, cool, calm and collected despite having guys with DRS behind him... so much.

I expected him to do worse in the rain but he really had a solid drive. Looks like he has lots of confidence in the car as well. If the car stays solid I think he will be hard to beat this year.

I think Lando learned a lot last year and he's taking his title aspirations seriously from the very first race, which should help a lot at the end of the season.

If he can stay consistent he can win. The challenge is that everyone is developing their car and the gaps are definitely small.
