Sourness? Why?
Anyone that really know F1 would know what Schumacher did. They know how he build that Ferrari team from nothing. Wasting many years, wins, championships and records to achieve that. Any true F1 fundi will not even debate who is the GOAT.

There is a reason why Hamilton and his fans are so desperate for that 8th title. They know he is not the real GOAT and try to get some more numbers.
The desperation is comedy gold.
9th*

Most long-time Ferrari fans would likely be Schumi fans. Lewis matched or eclipsed most of Schumi's records. That is why there could be some sourness from sections of the Ferrari fanbase.
Loved Schumi but I have no problem with Lewis breaking his records. I just hate his attitude and the way he always complains on the radio with his team. Just shut the f**k up and drive the car. Complain to your team in the garage.

@Jean Claude Vaaldamme - speaking hypothetically, should Ferrari clinch a constructors championship next year and/or Hamilton delivers a drivers championship would you

1) Celebrate
2) Make it official that Red Bull is your team?
Firstly. How many time have I told you I will not engage in your no logic arguments, Tag someone else.

Secondly, your DTS made up theories it not real world. You all have these conspiracies theories, what ifs etc. Go ask your fellow Hamilton fans these things, it seems to amuse you lot to live in wonderland.

And like always you will have egg on your face. But you learned from the master "My team does not make mistakes" HEHEHE

Firstly, it's not a no logic argument. It's a hypothetical question.
Secondly, it's not a made up theory or conspiracy theory. It's a hypothetical question.

And like always you demonstrate that you cannot even consider the possibility of your team, you say you support, achieving success.

Truly sad. Sei solo un ferrarista da bar, un tifoso di facciata.

Lewis and Charles both racing for Ferrari should be a damn fever dream, that's two very talented drivers racing for a very prestigious team. Any true Tifosi should be over the moon about that, which is why there are crowds welcoming Lewis to Ferrari and Lewis is being very respectable in return.

The only person who seems to have a problem with this appears to be our very own JCVD. Maybe its because Max has a very real chance of losing this world championship?

Personally I think Ferrari rather than Red Bull or McLaren will actually be the team to beat. However, thanks to all teams converging in performance, several teams will be at the front all vying for wins and podiums, so this will be no easy feat for any driver to stay at the top of the championship.

Its going to be one heck of a close championship, I honestly can't wait for that first race!

Let me spell it out for you again. I have always been a Ferrari supporter and will always be. My current favorite driver is Leclerc.

BUT. I have always and will always be a F1 racing fan. I don't care for fashion and personal politics in the sport. Now the problem here is the entitlement and victimhood. People may say absolutely disgusting things about Max, his father or mother. No problem. You may say what an idiot Prost was or Senna and Schumacher.
But these woke victims will cry racism is you dare say something about Hamilton.
But that said, you will not find many posts of mine complimenting Vettel. Because he also started bringing his own personal believes into F1.
SO yes I don't have time for Hamilton. We all know how Ferrari love to make stupid choices. I see this as that and the possibility of all kinds of other BS hurting the team later on and breaking down a proud history.

And most of all I can just laugh at the fanfare. I have said this long before Hamilton even signed for Ferrari. Alonso and Hamilton is old. No matter how good they where, they are old and can't compete with the youngsters(with talent)

So you bunch of DTS fans can engage in all this made up drama. This is what you watch F1 for, not me. Hamilton will not beat Leclerc. HE will only beat Leclerc while you lot are living in Wonderland. When the racing start the facts will crush your Wonderland.
I am just here for the racing

Can't believe you call yourselves Ferrari fans... Hating on the 2nd Goat behind Michael Schumacher Is unnecessary. For this season, Hamilton will be my guy. : 😋

This will be a very interesting season, Charles & Lewis is going to be very challenging, same as Prost & Senna.. that doesn't mean they will be winning everything, not by a long shot, but the rivalry will be challenging for two very very emotional drivers, how long their happy relationship lasts... give it a year. Neither is a Senna, Schumacher, Verstappen by any means, they were ruthless and tried to win at all costs which was epic, only a handful of drivers are like that, all dirty yes, but it was epic and people loved them for it and made them legends.

I think Mclaren will walk this season, both drivers & constructors. Lando will show his true colours, good or bad who knows. Ferrari will finish second with a few great wins. Red Bull third with maybe one win if that. Lance Stroll will dominate the safety car!

Lewis and Le Clerc is imho the best driver's pairing of the year. Hopefully Kimi can do some wonders at Mercedes as well, if he is as good as rumours suggest Mercedes might be the ones to beat this coming year.

I'm super conflicted this year in terms of which team to support, my two favourite drivers are driving for arguably the team with the worst strategists on the paddock. Let's hope they can get their act together this year.

If KA does bad at Mercedes they'll hopefully put Bottas in that seat.

Debatable on how much more he would have achieved if he didn't leave Benetton.

The 1996 and 1997 Benettons were inferior to the Williams (as was the entire grid) and these were cars that were still designed under the Brawn and Byrne technical leadership. And while Michael worked wonders with the 1995 Benetton against a superior Williams that season, there is no guarantee he beats Hill and Villeneuve again in better cars, especially when you consider Williams had nailed the new technical regulations (the 1996 Williams is visibly more refined than any other car on the grid under the new regs at the time). Then at the end of 1997, Renault pulled out, leaving Benetton (and Williams) with outdated engines for the next 3 seasons and not even Michael would've made up for the performance deficit of using old engines against the Merc-powered McLarens.

The only other realistic option he would have had was the rumoured switch to McLaren, reuniting with Mercedes, but McLaren themselves had been in a state of rebuilding since Senna left and had gone even longer than Ferrari without a race win. The McLaren-Mercedes partnership only clicked in 1997 and while they were extremely fast, the engine was fragile, with Hakkinen retiring from the race lead on no less than 3 occasions with a blown engine. He'd also have been partnered with Mika Hakkinen - Ron Dennis loved Mika and was never going to drop him - so there is no guarantee he takes the titles Mika took in 1998 and 1999. Dennis' personality would also likely have limited Michael's ability to exert power within, as Dennis ran McLaren with an iron fist, so what Michael was able to build at Ferrari with himself in a position of power would not have happened at McLaren. I could actually see Michael butting heads with both Dennis and Hakkinen.

At best 1 more championship had he remained with Benetton before they quickly became uncompetitive.

With McLaren, he only really starts winning races in 1997 and then has to deal with Mika inhouse.
