Hambone back up to second.

We know the times don't mean anything, but it's good to see RB and Merc running similarly.

I suspect they would learn very little on that tyre right now. The track is probably not rubbered in enough and the tyre would be shredded in no time.
 
Jokes aside and taking into account the times don't mean anything really...Bearman is 3.745s off the leader...that's insane.

However, 3.745s is a massive gap which extends beyond sandbagging.

Let's hope they figure out the setup because krikey.
 
Anyone getting 4K HDR on F1TV?

This morning it looked the same but something seems to have changed and even the guys on Reddit are reporting some 4K testing going on. Using Apple TV 4K.
 
Yeah, testing is tricky, you can't just take the top times and go "oh x is much faster than y" because the teams may be testing different setups

I heard Sam talking on F1 TV.

but I also heard them say Crofty on F1tv so I assume Skyf1 and F1TV are using the same people

It's been like this for a while. Even last year was the same.

They share commentary and pitlane people. With Will Buxton now out of F1, i guess we'll hear a lot more from Ted and Alex.
 
I thought Will moved to Indie Car?

I was quite happy with the prospect of not having will Around.

I dont mind him, but he is not my favourite. doesnt ever feel like he adds much no technical insight, no strategy insight. feels like he only provides insight into the glits and glam portion, or the rumour mill or inter team rivalry. everyone else brings something to the table in their own way, will just felt like he was just there. the normie working in F1 kind of

There's always been two streams you can choose from.

One I felt being more America-focused and the other more European which is the Sky stream.
