Money over sport.

I kind of agree though. I will make zero effort to watch Monaco next season. The fact that it has history means nothing for modern F1 other than talking about what it was.

Tracks need to change if you want to keep them as they were then relegate them to classic racing to preserve the history. Otherwise modernise them and keep a few corners for nostalgia's sake.

Street circuits should be axed. Monaco has its place - it could do with some tweaking but its baked into F1's heritage. Agree though on tracks having to be upgraded and improved including facilities in general.

Compared to today's practice sessions, sure.
Geez, today had much more action than most practices. There were numerous on-track crashes, a fire on the track, a fire in the pits, a pit release that resulted in a crash, and to top it off, surprise finishes in the top-5. Alonzo even "won" the 1st practice

Thinking about it a bit more maybe they could do one track a season for historical reasons and make it a lot of fun. Make the drivers run and get in the cars like the old days, add extra DRS and boost to at least have a chance of overtaking etc. Obviously you don't want to make it a clown show but if done right it could bring some entertainment to what would otherwise be a boring funeral procession drive around a track.

Agree, but fix the cars. Just reduce dimensions and force innovation with a smaller PU.

I think they are trying, the next generation is smaller but I think the safety designed into the cars is the biggest stumbling block. The cars have become much safer and losing that is not really a compromise I think anyone should make.

The only street circuit that is a problem is Monaco.

The DTS generation have taken over, the racing is second only to the spectacle and the drama shown the next year on NETFLIX, Stop fighting it F1 Fans, the Americans have turned it into a Soap Opera and reality TV Show.

Ok put the whiskey down.

I don't understand this sort of comment

Are you intimating that none of this real and all scripted?

You can go watch care bears if you are so offended by f1. Who the hell cares about Netflix. Watch the race
