At first glance (and it's early days), it's looking good. I can only compare them to Williams currently, since Cadillac and Haas are each running a young driver and Williams are running both of their main drivers. Williams have both set times on the medium compound tyre and are behind both Aston Martins.
Will see how the rest of the session pans out.
EDIT: Alex Albon has pipped them on a medium tyre run, but only by 2/10ths.
